Trang 61 Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
2 Remove the center air vent (B) using the SST (A) (09840-1M100) (Refer to the Body group - Crash pad)
Always use the SST(09840-1M100) to prevent the damage when removing the air vent (Refer to the Body group - Crash pad)
3 Remove the crash pad center facia panel (A)
Take care not to scratch the crash pad and related parts
4 Disconnect the connectors(A) from the crash pad center facia panel and heater control unit
Trang 75Ω Remove the mounting bolts(4EA) then remove the audio unit(A).
6 Disconnect the audio connectors and cable(A)
Trang 81 Connect the audio unit connectors and cable
2 Install the audio unit
3 Install the crash pad center facia panel
4 Check the audio system
• Make sure the audio head unit connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna cable is connected properly
Disassembly
1 Disassemble the front panel(A) then disconnect the connector(B) between the unit and front panel
2 Disassemble the top cover(A) after loosening 4 screws
Trang 93 Disassemble the deck (A) from the unit after removing the connector and screws.
Reassembly
1 Reassemble the deck to the audio unit
2 Reassemble the top cover
3 Reassemble the front panel and connect the connector

Description
Advanced lighting speaker
The advanced lighting speaker that lights around the front speaker is adjusted by turning the knob
• ON : The light turns on
• MOOD : The light shade changes automatically at regular interval
• MUSIC : The light blinks or changes shade according to the sound of audio
• OFF : The light turns off
• +/- : When the lights are on, push the illumination button to adjust the light intensity

2 Remove the mood lamp (A) after loosening the screws (4EA)
Mood Lamp Switch
1 Disconect the negative (-) battery terminal
2 Remove the lower panel (A)
(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad")
3 Remove the pin (A) of hinge in direction of the arrow
4 Remove the mood lamp switch (A) after loosening the screws (4EA)
Trang 13Front Speaker
1 Remove the front door trim
(Refer to the BD group - "Front door")
2 Remove the front speaker (A) after removing 4 rivets
Rear Speaker
1 Remove the rear door trim
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear door")
2 Remove the rear speaker (A) after removing 4 rivets
Tweeter Speaker
1 Remove the front door delta cover
(Refer to the BD group - "Front door")
Trang 142 Remove the tweeter speaker (A) after disconnecting the connector.Installation
Mood Lamp
1 Install the mood lamp
2 Install the front door trim
Mood Lamp Switch
1 Install the mood lamp switch
2 Install the pin of hinge
3 Check the operation of mood lamp
Front Speaker
1 Install the front speaker
2 Install the front door trim
Rear Speaker
1 Install the rear speaker
2 Install the rear door trim
Tweeter Speaker
1 Install the tweeter speaker after connecting the tweeter speaker connector
2 Install the front door delta cover
Inspection
1 Troubleshooting for Speaker
(1) Basic inspection of speaker
Inspect the sound from speaker after verifying that the speaker mounting screws are removed and the wiring connector is connected to remove any possible vibration transmitted from body trims andsurrounding parts
2 After re-installing the speaker, verify that no trembling sound is heard
3 When hearing a trembling sound again, replace the speaker with new one
Trang 152 Noise
1 Check if the wiring connector is connected normally If not, reconnect the wiring connector
2 In case of radio static, check if there is a noise from CD
3 When a noise is heard on turning radio, and CD on, replace the speaker with new one
In case there is only radio static, this causes from poor radio reception Thus the speaker needs no repair and replacement
3 Poor
working
Inspection of the wiring connection between the battery and the speaker
1 Before replacing the speaker, inspect the wiring connection between the battery and the speaker is normal
2 Check the supply power to the speaker and the resistance, then inspect the sound quality
■ Specified impedance : 2 ~ 4Ω
3 If the speaker works poorly, replace it with new one
When handling the speakers:
- Do not damage the speaker with impact, like dropping or throwing it
- Be careful not to drop water and oil on the speakers
- Caution during handling of speaker because the material of diaphragm is paper which is easily torn by impact or external force
- Modifying the audio system may cause damage the speakers If this is the case, the speakers are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty

Inspection
Antenna Cable
1 Remove the antenna jack from the audio unit and antenna
2 Check for continuity between the center poles of antenna cable

Trang 163 Check for continuity between the outer poles of antenna cable There should be continuity.
4 If there is no continuity, replace the antenna cable
5Ω Check for continuity between the center pole (A) and outer pole (B) of antenna cable There should be
no continuity
6 If there is continuity, replace the antenna cable
Removal
1 Remove the rear roof trim
(Refer to the Body group - Roof trim)
2 Disconnect the roof antenna connector (A) from the roof antenna
Trang 173 Remove the roof antenna(A) after removing a nut(B).
Installation
1 Connect the roof antenna cables and connectors
2 Install the rear roof trim

Removal
1 Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
2 Remove the driver airbag module (A) after removing mounting bolts (B)
(Refer to the Airbag group - Airbag module and clock spring)

Trang 203 Remove the steering wheel after loosening the nut and disconnecting the connector(A).(Refer to the Steering group - Steering column and shaft).
4 Loosen the screws (4EA) on the opposite side of the steering wheel
5Ω Disconnect the audio remote control switch connector(A)
6 Remove the audio remote control switch(A)
Trang 211 Install the audio remote control switch on the steering wheel
2 Connect the audio remote control switch connector
3 Install the steering wheel
4 Install the driver airbag module

Description
The AUX, iPod and USB JACK on the center console is for customers who like to listen to external portable music players like the MP3, iPod, earphone, USB memory stick, CD player and etc., through the vehicle's sound system when it is linked to this jack The customer has this added option
In case of distortions from media connected to the AUX source, the audio unit may not be defective but the output level of the used media does not match the specification of the AUX input

1 Remove the floor console (A)

2 Disconnect the jack assembly connector(A) from the floor console
3 Remove the Multi Media Jack (A) from the floor console

Multi Media Jack
1 Install the Multi Media Jack
2 Connect the Multi Media Jack connector
Trang 253 Install the under cover to the floor console.
