2 REGULATIONS IN THE DISMANTLE TOWER CRANE
All personal protective equipment will be supplied and must be maintained properly and worn at all times when “on site”
When erecting or dismantling a safety harness must be worn at all times and used when not protected from falling by handrails or the crane structure
All procedures to be in accordance with the manufacturer s manual The stated wind speed limitations in the manual must be strictly adhered to, and in case of same restriction being exceeded, or indeed forecast to be exceeded, all work should be stopped, assuming the work is in
a safe condition
Lines of adequate strength and length to be used to control loads
Both before and during the operation, all the crew and also the mobile driver, must be kept informed of the procedures to be carried out, and in particular individual duties such as signals and radio controls etc for example

DISMANTLING OF TOWER CRANE
1 DISMANTLING HOIST ROPE, TROLLEY ROPE AND ELECTRIC CABLE
Tower Crane electrician will remove trolley and hoist limits to enable deroping procedure
The trolley is then travelled to within 2 meters of jib nose
Using a suitable rope clamp, Clamp the rope just after the final trolley sheath
Lower the hoist rope to give sufficient “slack rope” under jib
Trolley out until the hoist rope anchor becomes loose Unpin anchor from jib nose
Travel the trolley to the inner most position lower hook block to the ground
Remove the rope clamp and anchor Hoist the rope back through the trolley and coil onto hoist drum
Note: No counter weights should be removed until this procedure has been completed

3 DISMANTLING THE JIB
Tie the trolley properly with rope and retrieve the cable
Hammer out the square-shaped pins and the steel plate which are connected to A-frame
Afterwards, hammer out the small pins joining the wedge lock and the slewing ring
Slightly hoist up the jib to a 5 degree angle with the ground level and hammer out the pins of the oval core within the wedge lock
Use the crawler crane to dismantle the whole jib and lay it on the ground before continuing with the dismantling process

4 DISMANTLING COUNTER JIB
Hanger counter jib (1) with 2 rope (2) of 6m long
Tying 1 rope (3) at counter jib for control when lowering from the ground
Trang 10 Slightly lift up the counter jib to a 5º angle, hammer out the connecting pins on the tie bar of the counter jib Then, hammer out the small pins of the oval core within the wedge lock
Trang 11Page 11
Use the crawler crane to dismantle the whole counter jib and lay it on the ground before continuing with the dismantling process
Trang 125 DISMANTLING CABINET
Ensure that no power cable from the cabin
Hanger cabinet with rope (hình 1A)
Remove pin (2) from A-frame (3) by pin (4) an bolt (5) (hình 1B, 1C), lowering cabinet to the ground
Trang 13Page 13
6 DISMANTLING A TOWER
Use slings of suitable length to lift up the A-frame + slewing ring according to the instruction manual
Loosen the screws connecting the slewing ring and the mast with a hydraulic block
Use a derrick crane to dismantle the A-frame + slewing ring and lay them on the ground
Trang 147 DISMANTLING MAST SECTIONS
Use chain slings of suitable length to lift up one mast
Loosen the screws connecting the masts with a hydraulic block
Use a derrick crane to dismantle the masts and lay them down to the ground one by one
