I GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

I.1 Legal requirement

Standard codes and construction techniques requirements are attached with designdrawings of College of Vietnam - South Korea basing on government’s regulations

In additional, the contractors have to apply the Vietnam's current standards andregulations

I.3 Requirements for site orgnizations and supervisions

- The Contractor shall perform construction technical measures under the currentconstruction regulations and standards of Vietnam (TCVN) Construction according to theapproved design documents, meet the design requirements for quality, technical, aestheticand labor, fire protection safety

- Comply with current construction procedures, rules for acceptance and Decree209/2004/ND-CP dated 16/12/2004 of the Government on management of constructionquality, Decree 49 / 2008/ND-CP dated 18/04/2008, amending and supplementing somearticles of Decree 2009/2004/ND-CP

- The underground parts must be accepted and made complete construction drawingsbefore obscuring

- Equipment and materials must be in right type and have a clear origin and record

- The materials used for construction must be accepted supervisor, investor forcategories and models, before rallying in the site

I.4 Requirements for work procerdures for site construction and installation

- The Contractor shall perform construction technical measures in accordance withthe current regulations and construction standards of Vietnam (TCVN) Constructingaccording to the approved design documents, design requirement Meet the quality,technical, aesthetic and safety demand

- Comply the procedures and regulations on acceptance of construction, according

to Decree 209/2004/ND-CP dated 16/12/2004 of the Government on construction qualitymanagement, Decree 49/2008/ND- CP dated 18/04/2008, amending and supplementingsome articles of Decree 2009/2004/ND-CP

I.5 Methods for mobilization of people and equipment for site construction

- The underground work should be accepted and made finishing drawing beforehiding

- Equipment and materials must be right type and origin, a clear history

- The materials used for construction must be accepted by investor and supervisingconsultant for categories, models, before gathering in the works

I.6 Requirements for systems of checking and ensuring quality of contractors

- During the performance of the contract, apart from complying with the requirementsstated in the specifications, the Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Decree209/2004/ND-CP dated 16/12/2004 of the Goverment on construction quality managementand comply with TCXD of Vietnam, Decree No 49/2008/ND-CP dated 18/04/2008amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No 209 / 2004/ND-CP

+ Acceptance must be done in the follwing order: internal acceptance between themanufacturing group and construction team, the construction team and the company

Monitoring the work quality:

- The contractor is solely responsible for the technical solutions for constructing worksand safety for humans, surrounding works, sanitation during the construction

- The contractor must have technical staff to regularly monitor and inspectconstruction quality All of the tests at the scene of the contractors are written to theconstruction log (material testing, accepting records, etc )

- Supervisor, the investor may request the contractor to handle, to destruct or to construct the items that apeare not guarantee the quality of the design regulations In thiscase, the Contractor shall bear all costs related to the destruction and re-constructionaccording to design requirements

re-I.7 Requirements for material and equipment types and quantities

a Requirement for materials:

Genral requirement:

Materials to be used must be ensured of type and quality, in accordance with therequirements of design and the current regulations Material must have a clear origin andprofile The structural materials (steel, cement, sand, stones ) must have a quality testingcertificate in according to the regulation or must have a testing result from an authorityunit to be ensured of design requirement before using

- Cement is in accordance with the requirements of clause 5.2 in TCVN 4453-1995,TCVN 4033-2003, TCVN 2682-1999

 Cement have to preserve to prevent water penetration, wet climate

 Cement placed in storage must be elevated 30 cm above the ground, ranking no higherthan 19 bags Must be ventilated and moisture resistant

- Testing the cement quality before using

Concrete sand:

- In accordance with the terms of TCVN 4453-1995 and TCVN 1770-86

- Content of mud, clay mud in the fine sand as% does not exceed 3%

- Salt content <= 1% by volume

- Mica content <= 1% by volume

Stones :

- In accordance with the terms of TCVN 4453-95 and TCVN 1771-87

- For reinforced concrete structures, the largest particle size not larger than the smallestdistance between the reinforcing bar and 1 / 3 the length of the smallest structures

Construction water

- Water used for concrete mixing is from water fresh sources , need to get sampling andanalysis in accordance with the standards specified for concrete and mortar TCVN 4506-87

- According to TCVN 4453-95 and TCVN 5724-93, water used for concrete and mortarmixing, concrete maintenance to be ensured the technical requirements of TCVN 4506-87

Do not use industrial waste water, sewage, dirty water in the pond, oily water

- Must have certificate of steel quality, manufacturing

- Steels produced by the standards of other countries (including the steel produced in thejoint venture) must comply with technical requirements of relevant standards (for the type

of reinforcement is not in accordance with TCVN should follow the norms for conversion

of mechanical reinforcement equivalent) and must indicate the specifications are asfollows

+ Chemical composition and manufacturing methods to meet the requirements ofsteel used in construction

+ Criterias: strength: yield limitation, breaking strength limitation and variationcoefficient of that limitations

+ Elastic modulus, maximum elongation, plasticity

no moving of reinforcement position, thickness of concrete Concrete after mixing do notleave to 90 minutes long and not to interrupt after 60 minutes

Brick:

 Use class 1 tunnel or continuous kiln brick, bricks must be ensured of no warping,cracking and must have color, size 6.5 x 10.5 x22cm; size 10x15x22 Certificate of thesamples in strength, water permeability is required

 Requirements (Compressive strength is 7.5 N/mm2, Flexural strength is 7.5 N/mm2,Water absorption 5%)

be cleaned, features cover small cracks, good smell, high coverage and less spillage, usewater solvent

Equipment:

- The equipment provided for the package must meet the specifications of the designdrawings, the equipment was imported intact in their package, with clearance papers of theauthorities, and equipment must be full product certification card, manufacturer's catalogs

- Types of electric lines and equipment must be confirmed for proper categories,synchronous, full of accessories before installation

- Cable will be packaged according to the manufacturer's standards, is sealed, labeledand fully intact before transporting to the site Cables must be submitted for approval ofthe manufacturer and tested according to applicable standards and requirements Multi-core cables must be marked with color to distinguish the different phases, neutral andground

* Sanitation and safety areas

General requirements:

+ Not to exceed pollution limits for the around environment:

+ Do not let the dirt fly away, causing environmental pollution;

+ No too large noise;

+ Absolutely no discharge of toxic elements;

+ Do not discharge water, sludge waste, waste material, soil, sand to the around area;+ No danger to the surrounding area;

+ No cause the subsidence, cracking down for the around infrastructure;

+ Do not obstruct traffic in the area;

+ No fire incidents

Implementation measures:

- The Contractor shall establish the construction space before constructing

- Complete the shielding and signs (with high fence> 2m, where deeply dangerous ,there are construction signs and hazard warning);

- Environmental hygiene, traffic safety:

- Against excessive noise and vibration;

- Fire and explosion protection during construction;

- Full implementation of measures to use electricity during the construction;

- There are fire resistant equipment: Water bottle, fire and flame retardant foam;

- Protection of infrastructure and green;

- While constructing must have safety method for infrastructure, maintain the normaloperation of the system;

- When ending the work, should clean-up ground, moved out of scraps, wastematerials, unloading the temporary work

- When the construction of underground:

+ There should be embankments, anti the collapse of pit;

+ Taking measures to remove the groundwater flow into the pit

+ Taking measures to protect works in heavy rain conditions, prolonged flooding

I.8 Requirements for fire fighting, safety and healths

* Environmental hygience, regonal safety:

General requirement:

- Do not allow pollution to exceed the permitted ambient:

+ Do not let the dirt fly away, the area of environmental pollution;+ No noise is too large;

+ Absolutely no discharge of toxic elements;

+ Do not drain water, mud, trash, waste material, soil and the surrounding area;

- No danger to the surrounding area;

- No cause subsidence, cracking down for the technical infrastructure system around;

- Do not interfere with traffic operation within the region;

- No fire incidents

Application approaches:

- The Contractor shall establish construction design ground clear before construction;

- Complete shielding and lane signs (with enclosed high> 2m dangerous places asdeepening , a construction site signage and hazard warning);

- Ensure environmental sanitation, hygiene and traffic safety:

+ There are plans for transport of materials and components for construction services atnight and outside office hours as prescribed by local authorities;

+ The transportation of waste materials are Canvas avoid waste poured into the street;+ Clean the spillage of materials, not for hygienic and dust, and dirt;

+ The contractor should arrange a fleet of refuse collection, cleaning the site duringconstruction;

- Noise and excessive vibration;

- Prevention of fire during construction;

- Implement measures all electricity used during the construction;

- Have fire equipment: Water bottle and foam fire fire;

- Protection of infrastructure and trees;

- In the application of measures to protect the technical infrastructure, maintain thenormal operation of this system;

- End of works to be carried out clearing the ground, moving out waste, excess materials,temporary works and unloading

* Work safety techniques:

- Forces participating in construction meet the standards of the age, health, skills and aretrained in occupational safety prior to implementation;

- Participants construction is equipped with adequate tools and means of labor protection

in their careers;

- There should be the person in charge of occupational safety are present throughout theconstruction process for timely reporting and handling accidents restrictions;

- When construction of underground natural soil:

+ Measures should be taken embankments and avoid collapse against the pit;

+ To take measures to remove the water pump groundwater flow into the pit;

+ There are safeguards work in heavy rain conditions, prolonged flooding;

I.9 Other general requirements

- The Contractor shall perform construction technical measures in accordance with thecurrent regulations and construction standards of Vietnam (TCVN) Constructing

according to the approved design documents, design requirement Meet the quality,technical, aesthetic and safety demand.

Comply with the procedures and regulations on acceptance of construction,according to Decree 209/2004/ND-CP dated 16/12/2004 of the Government onconstruction quality management, Decree 49/2008/ND- CP dated 18/04/2008, amendingand supplementing some articles of Decree 2009/2004/ND-CP

- The underground work should be accepted and made finishing drawing beforehiding

II PREPARATION AND TEMPORARY WORKS

II.1 Testing Institute

For testing of materials and equipment the contractor shall ask approval of thetesting institute that has full appraisal capacity allowed by the ministry of construction ofVietnam

II.2 Scope of the Contract

The Works included in the Contract comprise the furnishing and installing of allmaterials and equipment necessary to form the complete construction of the Works shown

on the Contract drawing and/or described in the Specification

The construction materials, equipment, finishes, fixtures etc shall be the same orclosely similar to those shown on the Contract drawings and/or described in thisSpecification

All the works shall be constructed in accordance with the Specification and with theContract drawings and approved shop drawings

The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that all materials and items,mentioned and/or described in this Specification and/or shown on the drawings and/ordeemed necessary for the proper and workmanlike execution of this project will besupplied, processed, fixed, finished and tested by him unless specifically stated otherwise

in the Contract documents

II.3 Visit Site

The Contractor will be deemed to have visited the site and acquainted himself withthe nature of the ground, means of access, existing structures, space available for storage

of materials and erection of sheds etc It will further be presumed that the Contractor hasobtained all relevant information regarding availability of water, electric power andmaterials required for the Works No claim resulting from lack of knowledge or failure tocomply with this clause will be entertained

A subsequent payment demand as a result of a lack of knowledge of local conditionscannot be considered

The contractor is to be aware of the local conditions in detail before the submission ofthe tender.

Actual construction site facilities are to be carried out in agreement with theconstruction site management corresponding to the local circumstances

Risk does not pass to the Engineer and Employer after acceptance of the constructionfacilities

Approval of the facilities can be applied for from the construction site managementafter completion of the total performance

II.4 Plant, Etc.

The Contractor shall provide everything necessary for the proper and efficientexecution of the Works in orderly sequence including all requisite tools, tackle, plant,scaffolding, hoists, machinery, labor, haulage, materials and storage shed, etc… required

by the Contractor, shall clear away all items at completion or as they become superfluousand shall make good all disturbed work and repair any damage caused All plant is of goodquality, well maintained and without defects Bamboo scaffolding shall not be used unlesswith the express approval of the Engineer and then only for very limited heights

II.5 Shed, Offices, Etc

The Contractor shall provide and erect all temporary offices, stores, fabrication yardsetc that may be necessary for the construction works and complying with the Contractdocuments

The Contractor shall further provide and erect all necessary proper sanitary and otherfacilities for the use of the workers engaged on the site, keep these in a clean condition andclear them away when they are no longer required This requirement will be strictlyenforced by the Engineer so as to prevent the workers using other places for sanitarypurposes

Before any temporary structures can be erected, the Contractor shall submit his spacerequirements, location and layout plan to the Engineer for his scrutiny and approvalconcerning the location and the appearance of such temporary structures

The Contractor shall provide the above-mentioned temporary buildings with therequired electrical installations, water supply and sewage system and shall provideconnections to the appropriate service mains The costs for water, electricity and for publiccommunication services for all temporary sheds, offices etc shall be borne by theContractor

The Contractor shall take down all sheds, etc on completion of the Works or wheninstructed to remove from the site and make good all disturbed work

II.6 Temporary Power

The Contractor shall provide all temporary power and/or artificial lighting requiredfor the execution of the Works and for the temporary provisions and offices TheContractor shall provide and maintain all temporary cables and wiring, and shall arrangefor the clearing away at completion of all temporary provisions, at his own expense Allworks for temporary power supply shall be carried out in a safe and workmanlike manner,

to the approval of both the Engineer and the relevant Authority

II.8 Prevention of Trespass

The Contractor is to confine his operations to the vicinity of the actual constructionsite and is to prevent any trespass onto adjoining areas by the workers engaged on theconstruction site

The Contractor shall not permit any unauthorized person to have access to the siteand shall give his Superintendent of Works and watchmen strict instructions to that effect.All personnel of the Contractor shall be provided with identification badges, which shall

be worn at all times when engaged on the Works Format of badges and entry / exitprocedures shall be discussed and agreed by the Owner

II.9 Protection of Employer’s and Public Property

The Contractor is to allow for keeping all reads, footpaths and rights of way clear of allplant, materials, etc., and for assuring the unimpeded passage of vehicular and pedestriantraffic during the whole course of the Contract

The Contractor will also be held responsible should any interference, damage ordislocation occurred to any supplies or services at the Employer’s premises or to anypublic supplies and services such as water, electricity, telephone, sewers, etc., due to theContractor’s operations and will be required to pay all consequent costs and expenses inconnection with any reinstatement and repairs

During the entire period of the execution of Works on the project site under thisContact, the Contractor shall be fully responsible for any damage to structures, services,roads, fences, kalongs, drains, etc that are located on the Employer’s or adjacent premisesand any such damage resulting from the Contractor’s operations shall be made good by theContractor at his own expense and to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer

II.10 Watching and lighting

The Contractor will be required to supply all day and night watching, lighting andprotection of the Works that he may deem necessary, during the whole period of theContract, and he will be held responsible for all losses or damage to his own materials onsite or work in progress, or to materials on site or work in progress of his ownsubcontractors

The Contractor will be solely responsible for the safety of the whole of the Worksincluding the materials and plant on site until the Employer as completion accepts theContract He is to allow for supplying all necessary materials and effectively protectingthe whole of the Works from damage, from whatever cause arising, and is to allow forkeeping the Works free from storm water, subterranean water and flooding by protectingwith suitable covering, pumping baling or as otherwise required or directed.

In areas with combustible materials and where otherwise directed by the Engineer,sufficient numbers of fire extinguishers, to the approval of the Engineer, shall be provided

II.11 Welfare and Safety

The Contractor shall allow for providing and maintaining welfare facilities andsuitable adequate safety measures for the protection of workers and visitors to the Works;such facilities and safety measures shall be to the satisfaction of the Engineer and shallalso be in accordance with any statutory requirements in force at the time

The Contractor shall provide on the project site adequate and easily accessible firstaid kits or such provisions may be required in any Government Ordinance, Factories Act,etc., in force at the beginning of the Contract, or subsequently published and/or amendedfrom time to time In addition at least one person, who will be permanently on the site,shall have practical knowledge of basic first aid principles and shall be instructed in theirapplication, and the person(s) so designated shall be made known to all employees by theposting of his or their name(s) and designation(s) in a prominent position within the sitearea

The Contractor shall allow for all costs and expenses in connection with any SocialSecurity Scheme in force during the period of execution of the Contract and for allexpenses incurred in complying with statutory obligations regard to welfare,transportation, holidays, etc

II.12 Water

The Contractor shall be responsible for the supply of water for his own use from theconnection point and shall allow for the provision of all necessary temporary plumbingand drainage, etc., which he shall alter from time to time as may be required, clear away

on completion and make good all disturbed works

II.13 Temporary Roads

The Contractor shall be provided during the progress of the Contract all necessarytemporary roads and pavement crossings as may be required for access to all portions ofthe Works, not allowable to remove and clear them away at completion or when directedand make good any damage caused by or in connection therewith

II.14 Permits and Applications

The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits from Government agencies andmake all necessary and required arrangements for execution of works

The Contractor shall cart away all rubbish from time to time as it accumulates andleave the Works clean and tidy on completion This clause will be strictly enforced by theEngineer to maintain safety and neatness on the building site

II.15 Program of Work and Method of Construction

For a proper scheduling of the times and activities required for execution of thisproject, the Contractor shall submit a construction program within 15 days after thesigning of the Contract, which shall show the following:-

(1) Proposed dates for starting and completion of the various parts of the Works;(2) Proposed dates for procuring materials, plant and equipment;

(3) Proposed hours of site work for the Contractor’s personnel;

(4) Proposed dates for shipment and arrival on site of the construction materials,

if any However, locally available materials are highly recommended

This program shall be in such a form, and shall use such method of planning, thatdelays and the effects of delays can be discovered at an early stage and steps can be taken

to prevent or correct such delays The total construction period of this program shall be theperiod stated in the Contract or such shorter period that the Contractor thinks possible.When necessary or when requested by the Engineer, the Contractor shall prepare amendedprograms for the approval of the Engineer

II.16 Works Diary

The Contractor shall keep a diary on the site, in which shall be recorded thefollowing essential information; the diary shall consist of a standard form to the approval

(4) Progress of the works of the Contractor and his subcontractors;

(5) Delays in planned progress of the works of the Contractor and his

subcontractors;

(6) Engineer’s instructions and memos and variation orders received;

(7) Drawings, sketches, and revisions of drawings received;

(8) Special occurrences, accidents, etc

A copy of the diary shall be submitted daily to the Engineer for his perusal Theoriginal diary shall become the property of the Employer

II.17 Samples

Samples required by the Engineer are to be provided without delay at the Contractor’sexpense and shall, if required, be in accordance with the relevant standard method ofsampling The samples shall be taken in such a way or by such a method that they can beconsidered to be representative of the full quantity of materials or work from which theyare taken The samples, when approved, will be kept by the Engineer, who will reject allmaterials or workmanship not corresponding in quality and character with the approvedsamples Suitable labeled boxes, shelves, containers for the storage of samples shall beprovided by the Contractor at his own expense

Materials shall, unless otherwise directed by the Engineer, be tested before leavingthe manufacturer’s premises and the Contractor shall obtain and supply to the Engineer forhis approval certificates from the manufacturer, showing that the materials have beentested according to the relevant specification or Standard The Contractor shall providelabor where required, for tests carried out in accordance with the Contract

Where in this Specification, makes or named products of individual manufacturers arementioned, this is only an indication of the quality and type of goods which are consideredsatisfactory by the Engineer The Contractor may substitute similar products of at leastequal quality and suitability, subject to the Contractor proving the quality and suitability,

to the approval of the Engineer

II.18 Setting Out and Leveling

Prior to the commencement of the works the Contractor shall set out the Works usingapproved building boards and preserve datum marks to the approval of the Engineer TheContractor shall record these datum marks on a drawing, three copies of which shall begiven to the Engineer The Contractor shall employ a sufficient number of qualifiedsurveyors for all setting out and leveling prior to commencement of the Works and duringthe construction

The Contractor shall bear full responsibility for all such setting out and leveling, also

in relation to the setting out of works for other contractors

The Contractor shall regularly inspect level marks, gridline markers and otherindication marks of levels or positions to ensure that they have not been displaced Anyrevision in position or change in level of any part of the Works shall only be made withapproval from the Engineer, and the Contractor shall be responsible for adjustment ofearlier made marks and of submission of the information regarding such revision to allparties concerned

If the Contractor intends to make use of any particularly dangerous material orprocess, he shall give prior notice to the Engineer and shall take all necessary precautions

to ensure the safety of the workers and the environment

The Contractor shall ensure that equipment is assembled solidly and that equipment,which is necessary in order to carry out the work, is in adequate condition and properlymaintained Repairs shall only be carried out when equipment/machinery is stopped andthe electrical equipment isolated

The Contractor’s responsible site supervisors shall inspect their work daily and ifnecessary take remedial action

Scrap fires and open fires are permitted only in specific areas approved by theEngineer For work requiring open fires and naked flames, the Contractor must take allnecessary precautions.

Next to stores of combustible materials or to machines which produce sparks, such ascutting and welding machines, an adequate number and the storekeeper or operator must

be instructed on how to use them

Employees must take note of and follow the instruction regarding protective measuresagainst injury to people and damage to materials and/or equipment

III EARTHWORKS:

III.1 Document requirements:

1. Normative standard of Vietnam standard 4447: 1987(earthworks); Vietnam standard4085: 1985 (brick and stone structure); Vietnam standard 79: 1988 (Construction andapproval foundation works)

2. Geological survey file of construction land

3. Drawing of overall status

4. Position drawing

5. Drawing of surveying cadastral of the land provided by the investors

6. Drawing of the foundation, underground lakes and septic tank

7. Leveling drawing

III.2 Work requirements:

1 Locate nail and pitch

2 Dig reinforced concrete foundation ground

3 Dig ground septic tankunderground water tunnel

4 Level overall background

III.3 Technical requirements:

1 Position works:

- The nail positioning is defined based on standard markers

- In turn in the order instructed in the drawing

- Identify standard pitch 0.00 is cote completing the main items (up to the completedtiles), the cote of the existing grass must be dug down to the natural soil to ensure thecalculated strength

- The work of the foundation, the foundation must use, surveying, marking elevationstakes, poles and the edge of the foundation work conducted out of the influence of theconstruction

2 Leveling work:

- Before leveling the existing grass, turf must be dilled and carried out of thebuildings, it must be ensured the construction natural soil and roots of trees and otherorganic materials no longer exist on the surface

- Sand must be applied thick layers, each layer is 20-30cm thick, compact reaches thedensity k = 0.9 before constructing next layer

- During the construction, layers of materials need to ensure to have optimum humidity

of compaction appropriate to the technical requirements

to ensure the strength of the foundation

- Size and height of foundation must be the same as designed, must obtain design unit’sacceptance before applying changes

- Before filling the pit, there must be test records for every part, the land is filled by centimeter layers, watered, and compacted carefully by table compaction

40 Must have methods to ensure the safety of people and vehicles during construction ofthe pit

- Must have reasonable construction methods to speed up the procedure of foundationdigging

- Take unforeseen factors (rainy weather) into account during the construction

- When digging designed cote, Investors, Supervision Consultant and DesignConsultant must be notified to check and approve reinforced foundation cote

5 Excavation work to install drainage pipes:

- Due to inability to survey existing sewers, the depth of buried pipes cannot bedetermined Propose the construction company survey, reported to the unit designed forsolving in the field

- The principle to install cote drainage pipe is flowing pipe of the existing sewers in thearea

- See the work requirements of stormwater drains

6 The work of digging septic tanks and underground water tunnel:

- The size and the level of deep tunnel design

- When digging holes to erect temporary support wall hole prevent landslide

- Ensuring the construction of tunnel walls on landslide scheduleand affect other items

- Before filling the tunnel to approve the amount, osmotic water requirements, waterpressure, waterproofing of the lake

III.4 Checking and approval:

IV PILING WORKS:

IV.1 Document requirements:

- Vietnam standard 4453: 1995: Structural concrete and reinforced concretemonolithic – Rules of construction and approval

- Vietnam standard 205: 1998: Foundation pile – Design standards

- Vietnam standard 4091: 1985: Approval of buildings

IV.2 Work requirements:

1 Construction of piles

2 Surveying positioning

3 Transportation, preservation, lifting up piles

4 Preparation

5 Splicing of the pile

IV.3 Technical requirements:

1 Construction of piles:

- Construction of piles should follow construction drawings, including: data about thelayout of existing works and works underground, electrical lines with the depth installationinstruction and measures to protect them; list of machines, equipment; process andconstruction schedule; measures to ensure labor safety and environmental sanitation; thedrawing of the construction layout including water, electricity and other items oftemporary construction service

- To have enough data for construction of pile foundation, especially in complexgeological conditions, when necessary, the Contractor have to press the piles and pilesconducted experiments with dynamic load or static load according to the outline of theConsultant or Designer propose

- Before construction piles to carry out preparatory work as well:

a) Research geological conditions and hydrogeology, the thickness, the lies and theirphysical and mechanical characteristics;

b) Exploration the potential of the underground obstacles to eliminate them, thepresence of underground buildings and surrounded buildings to take measures to preventadverse impacts on them;

c) Consider urban environmental conditions (noise and vibration) according toenvironmental standards related when constructing near residential areas and availablebuildings;

d) Approving ground for construction;

e) Set grid surveying positioning of axis foundation and coordinates of pile which need

to construct on the ground;

f) Check manufactured certificates of the pile;

g) Check the actual size of the pile;

h) Transport and arrange piles on the ground for construction;

i) Mark on the body pile divided by the length of piles;

k) Combination of the pile on the ground into the tree piles as designed;

l) Put the machine of surveying to monitor the upright of the pile and measure thedecline of the pile

- The location of each pile in the construction process by surveying members must haveexperience conducted under the technical supervision of construction contractors and thedeposit side of important works should be checked by the supervision consultant

- The standard position of the grid should be checked regularly, especially when therewas a landmark shift should be checked immediately

- The deviation of the axis with the designs should not exceed 1 cm per 100 m length ofline

3 Transportation, preservation, lifting up piles:

- Transportation, preservation, lifting up piles in place must comply with the measuresagainst damage When carrying piles of reinforced concrete as well as arrange in theinventory must have system of wood at the bottom of the hook

- Forbid to roll or pull pile of reinforced concrete with wire

4 Preparation:

- Contractor based on design documents, requirements of Investors and environmentalconditions to establish construction method of piles in which to note the following items:a) Construction technology of pressing;

b) Plans to select equipment;

c) Quality assurance plan which clearly piles according to the land conditions, the layout

of operator piles, the number of piles in stations, methods to check the vertical inspectionand weld, how to measure the decline, safety measures and ensure environmentalsanitation ;

d) Plans and how to handle problems;

e) Construction schedule

5 Splicing of piles:

- Start welding of piles when:

+ The size of the codes are suitable to design;

+Axis of the pile has been checked in the verticalness according to two perpendiculardirections;

+ The surface of the top of two piles must be connected each other tightly

- Weld joints of the pile have to ensure compliance with provisions of the bearingdesign; do not have the following disabilities:

+ Weld size deviation from the design;

+ Height or width of the weld is not uniform;

+ The weld line is not straight, the weld surface is porous, so heat can flow spills, arecracked and slag

+ The piles continue after checking weld joints without disabilities

IV.4 Checking and approval:

- The contractor must have technical staff regularly monitor the piles, log piles record.Supervision consultant or representative of the Investor and the Contractor should approvewith the provisions of the stops mentioned above for each pile at the scene, make approvalrecords in available form In case of accident or damage pile, Contractor must notify toDesigner to have appropriate remedial measures; problems should be solved soon as massand when approving, only based on the valid file, no disputed issues

- When the pile to a depth of design that does not reach regulated decline, theContractor must check his piling process, which can pile was sloping or broken, should beconducted after the pile is "off "and the experiments to check the integrity of the pile andexperiment about analyzing wave to determine the cause, notify to Designer to haveappropriate remedial measures

- When the pile reaches the regulated decline but has not reached the depth of design,may have met obstacles, geological conditions change, driven upwelling ground , theContractor should clearly identify cause to remedy

- Approval of pile construction work conducted on the basis of the followingdocuments:

a) The approved design;

b) Approval surveying position records of pile shaft;

c) Shipped certificates of piles according to the terms set out in section 3 about thecommercial piles;

d) The log piles and approval records of each pile;

e) Completion of the pile records have false notes in the ground and the depth ofadditional piles and design changes have been approved;

f) The results of piles (check the decline and PDA experiment if any);

g) The results of experiments to check the entire mass of pile plant - PIT smalldeformation experiment according to design;

h) The results of static compression experiment

V REINFORCED CONCRETE WORKS:

V.1 Document requirements:

- Normative standard of Vietnam standard 4453: 1955 (concrete structure and concreteblocks), Vietnam standard 4085: 1985 (brick and stone structure) and Vietnam standard5461: 1991 (reinforced concrete tank)

- Contract for construction of poured reinforced concrete between the Investor andcontractor of this work

- General standard for materials, grading and concrete quality (the contractor mustprovide the date of manufacture, serial numbers, supplies, materials manufacturers,specifications, check results about information on grading, the link of the use life).

- Profile of architectural designs and textures to when there is a difference between thedrawings shall notify to designed unit for timely correction

- Dismantle formwork when the concrete has gained standard strength

- Formwork surfaces should be clean, does not warp

- It is necessary to check the heart axis and the size by elevation measurement machinebefore construction 24 hours (with photograph)

- Cleaning reinforcement before pouring concrete

- Reinforced standard of Vietnam standard 4453: 1995 (concrete structure andreinforced concrete), certified quality of steel intensity by verifiable agencies

- The disparities in size and elevation do not exceed the permitted norms

3 Concrete work:

- According to Vietnam standard 4453: 1995 (Concrete structure and reinforcedconcrete)

- The material make out concrete to ensure technical requirements with state standards

on building materials and the consent of the Owner and design unit, supervisionconsultants

- Pouring concrete materials manufactured in place to ensure the followingrequirements:

+ Cement according to Vietnam standard 2682: 2008 and certified documents ofshipment

+ Cement has preserved under 3 months

+ Large sand according to Vietnam standard 1770: 198, clean sand, not adulterated,stone, trash

+ Large aggregates (stone 4x60, 10x20): Natural stone according to Vietnam standard1771: 1987

+ Mixing water and maintaining concrete are the city water supply or the Vietnamstandard 4506: 1987.

+ Additives (if any) must be notified to the Investor, design unit and supervisionconsultants, with the specifications, check results, the manufacturer

- Cast-in-place concrete or fresh concrete must be provided grading concrete table andconcrete check results by construction units, and saving concrete check results at thesealed and marked buildings

V.4 Construction methods:

1 Foundation construction method:

a Preparation:

* Surface:

- Cleaning up, clearing of trees in construction area

- Break down; move the additional works and the obstacles are available from theconstruction site (if any)

* Position:

- Get standard landmarks

- Use sub-system piles for the position include: Identify the cote heart, the depth of pit,the top of roof land excavation, the pit boundaries, the length and width of trenches forsewer in construction

b The work of digging:

- Carry out the pit dug with the size in drawing

- When digging pit need to use measures to shore up the land walls of the pit and to digunder the sloping roof Measures to shore up can use the system of the strut if needed

- Part of the concrete pit must dig by hand

- Need approve pit excavation work before carrying out the next works

c The installation of foundation formwork:

- Use the form 2.5 cm thick

- Stretch form wire according to the heart axis in both of directions, drop plumb tolocate the exact foundation heart

- Merge form according to foundation size, check the vertical surface

- Fixed form by a system of prevention, splints and yoke on the allowed distance

- Ensure technical requirements about the position of heart size according to design

- Coupling between boards or steel plate without cracks

d The installation of reinforced foundation:

- Determine the nail axis; nail center and high to place steel mesh in foundation footing

- Place the available steel mesh in pit position; chock the steel mesh 5cm thick to ensurethe thickness of protection layer

- Installation of foundation reinforcement, fixed with horizontal wooden pit Check thereinforced size, the number and spacing of the bars, thickness and location of protectedsteel

- Check the position steel nails with heart columns

e Concrete work:

- Before pouring concrete to check formwork, reinforcement and must be confirmed bythe approval records.

- After checking, need to carry out pouring foundation concrete in horizontal layers,each layer of 20-30cm to ensure good bond between layers of concrete, must pour the topconcrete layer on the below concrete layer before it begins link security

- During the concrete pouring need to compact with hand-shake, do not compact in aposition longer than 25 seconds to ensure homogeneity of the concrete requirements

- Installation of the anchor bolt must be ensured the position by using steel molds tolocate the bolts according to the design

- After pouring concrete, using dam float and rub the concrete surface

2 Necklaces track construction method (foundation beam):

a Form and reinforcement work:

- Get high on momentum Necklaces (foundation beam)

- Installation of formwork and hold the board against the yoke by hand, struts on theoutside or use wire tension

- Check heart beams and adjust the vertical formwork surface

- Installation of reinforced tripod

- Align the heart position of anchor bolt (if any)

b Concreting work:

- Before pouring concrete, need to check formwork and reinforcement last

- When pouring concrete, must pour concrete focused on the middle, avoidingcollisions on formwork and reinforcement can cause them to deform and move out ofposition

- During the pouring concrete, must use the concrete compaction

3 Column and wall braces construction method:

- Determine the horizontal and vertical heart of columns

- After assembling the pieces of formwork column according to exact size, using fixederaser by wood or steel, the distance between stocks must in allowed range

- Installation of reinforcement and wall anchor

- Use plumb-line to check the heart and vertical, then fixed the column formwork bystruts or wires

- Before pouring concrete, should pour a cement layer or additives link at the bottom ofthe column

- Use hose to pour concrete if pouring by machine or using tole tray to put concrete inthe column, if pouring by the gutters, the height each period is not exceeding 2m

- Vibrators are entered in the column for vertical compaction, noting column angleswhen compacting

- Position the code and anchor bolt if the column associated with the steel truss
