Lesson aims:

Upon the completion of this unit, students can

- understand the concept of a job application form

- master the tips on how to complete a job application form

- grasp the vocabulary used in a job application form

- complete their own job application form

A job application form is a form used in the recruitment process to enable a job candidate to supply information about his or her qualifications, skills, and experience

4 How to complete a job application form?

4.1 Tips:

Appearance:

 Use black or blue ink to fill in forms not red one

 Write clearly and neatly Do not use correction pen

Content:

 Follow strictly all the instruction given in the form to fill in blanks

 Complete all the compulsory information requested

 Using the English way to fill in any date information

 Education and Experience should be related to the job you are applying for and must be listed in chronological time order (Most recent/ current one will

be listed first)

 Use Verbs to list out the applicants’ responsibilities
