Memory game

- Ask the sts to open their books and observe the pictures on page 109 carefully

- Let sts look at the pictutres for 20 seconds

And ask them to close the books

- Divide the class into two teams and ask memory the names of the things they'vejust seen in the picture

- Tell them the team having the most right words in the winner

2 Language focus 1: 10'

- Ask the sts to open their books and look at the pictures on page 108

- Set the scene:

It's time for recess and the people at Quang Trung School are in the school yard What are they doing?

- Ask the qs and call on some sts to answer the qs

T: What 's Mr Quang doing?

Sts: He's walking / going up the stairs

T: Who is the man walking up the stairs?

MOdel sentences: The man walkibg up the stairs is mr Quang

* Form : V+ing = present participle

3 Practice:

* Wordcues drill

- Show the cardboards and have the sts run through the situationas again
