I Objective

At the end of this lesson , students will be able to get information about some celebrations in the world

1 Structures : Relative pronouns and clause

2 Vocabulary : occur, decorate, freedom, slavery, jewish, parade, passover, joyful

III Techniques: Brainstorming ,Eliciting , What and where

- Textbook , pictures , extra board, stereo

I Objective: At the end of this lesson , students will be able to

- give and respond to compliments.

- practice listening to fill in the missing words of the song

II Language content:

1 Structures: expressions to give compliments, revise passive voice

2 Vocabulary : well done, congratulation on, you’re welcome, charity, auld, Lang, syne, thine, acquaintance

III Techniques:

gap-fill, multiple choice, repetition, rub out-remember, brainstorming, situations

IV Teaching aids: poster of the song and cassette.
