There isn't any fully research about the accurate original of the song but according to the information

on almost Vietnamese websites, it

is a Quan Ho Bac Ninh's Song

The song's climax is when the girl staying alone at night, waiting for her lover Even day or night, the girl keeps restless waiting, expecting The drumbeat describes the time passed rapidly, makes the listeners feel emotional because of the

Dang Ngoc Long is a famous composer He is the first Vietnamese wins the International Guitar Award (1987) He brought traditional music to the world His works and transcriptions for guitar often mix the European modernity and Vietnamese traditional melody It has been successful in Europe and many countries in the world
