Lesson one: Topic A Where is your school? (A1, 2; p 44)

I Objectives:

After this lesson, students will be able to

(Sau khi hoàn thành bài học, học sinh sẽ có khả năng: Hỏi và trả lời về nơi chốn, vị trí của vật,

đặc điểm của vật Sử dụng sở hữu cách của danh từ.)

II Teaching aids:

- Text book, pictures,cards, extral board…

III Procedures.

* Class organizing: ( 1’)

- Greetings

- Checking attendances : 6A : / 34; 6B: / 32

A.Warm up (5')

- Divides Ss into 2 teams

-Ticks the cards on the board

- Guides students play a game :

“Pelmanism”.

- Tells them about the rules of the game:

There are 8 cards( personal pronouns and

possessive adjs) each group in turn choose

two numbers Turn the cards which students

have chosen, if each match will be the

point

- The team getting the most marks is the

winner

- join the game

* New lesson:

B Pre - teach (12')

- Introduces 2 pictures( A1) in the textbook

(p44)

- Gets the students to remark about the sizes

of those schools and where they are located

- Introduce the lesson

- Guides reading the words: big, small

- Writes on the board

- reads samples and asks students to read

after

- Look at the pictures and remark about the sizes of school( Individual work)

1 Vocabulary:

+ Big( adj): to, lớn ( realia) + Small( adj): nhỏ, bộ ( realia)

- listen, repeat and copy

- calls some students to read again.

- Introduces more words:

city/country( example)

* Checking: Rub out and remember.

- Gives some examples:

This is my bag, it's big.

This is Hoa's bag, it's small.

- Asks students to look at the two pictures

in A1 on page 44 again then ask one student

+ Is it your school?

- Shows a boy in the picture and asks:

+ Is it this boy's school?

Prediction:

- Asks students to guess and do matching

- Takes some things on the desk and speak

Ex: It's Lan's pen.

It's Hoa's book.

It's Phuong’s ruler.

- Ask Ss to give some more examples

- Writes sentences on the board and asks

students to read carefully and remark

- Comments formed danh từ chỉ người( tên riêng) +’S + danh từ.
