1 I am writing to complain about a CD player which I bought from your company
to give my son for Christmas

3 First of all, when I pressed the OPEN/ CLOSE button on the CD player, the drawer opened and closed so quickly that I did not have time to put a/ the CD in
4 The cassette player was even worse: whenever we/ I attempted to record music, it sounded distorted
5 Because of these problems, I returned the stereo/ CD player to the shop where I had purchased it
6 They said it would take a week to repair but after three weeks it was waiting for spare parts and was/ had not been ready after two months
7 When I tried it at home, I found that the CD problem had been rectified but the cassette player was no better
