I/ Aims and objectives:

* Language content:

-Introduces a short folktale “The lost shoes” about an honest, poor life of Little Pea that is the same to the character “Cam”

*Language function:

-To enable the students to practice their reading skill to read a short folktale

* Educational aim :

-To educate the students to become good citizens

1 Language:

a Vocabulary: broken heart, prince, fairy, rag, magically, change (something into something)

b Structures: - Simple past

2 Skills: - Integrated skills

3 Educational factor:

- Build up a good character

II/ Teacher and students' preparation:

1 Method : - Communicative approach

2 Techniques: Question-Answer, Repetition, statements ordering ,Gap-filling, Game, pair work and group work

3 Materials needed: Picture, cassette player, flash cards

4 Students' preparation: : New words and phrases

5 Previous exercises: Summarize the story (last period )

III/ Procedure in class:

1/ Stabilization ( 2ms):

a Warm up: - Greets the students

b Checking absence: - Asks the monitor about the absence

2/ Checking up the previous knowledge : (5 ms )

* Question:

- Calls a student to tell the folktale “ the farmer and the golden egg “
