INCSolver DFE/Simulation

A new Report function was added in

the Die Simulation GUI It allows the

user to generate a formability report

and see the formability result

Descriptions

The Report button is activated after the result file

(.FAS) is generated Click Report and the program

will automatically use the Post-Processor to

process the forming results (.FAS) rapidly and

export the analysis result report The user can

select result type as Nodal Result or Elem Result

Nodal Result: Allows the user to show the result

through the contour interpolated by nodes

Element Result: Allows the user to show the result

through the unit of the element instead of the

contour interpolated by nodes

1.  Start up Dynaform 5.9.2 and open the database liftgate.df See Figure 1

2.  Got to DFE-> Die Simulation See Figure 2

3.  The Die Simulation dialog box is shown as illustrated in Figure 3

4.  Next, click Apply in the Die Simulation window See Figure 3

Note: If users have the result file (.FAS) already, the Report button will be activated The user can see the result and generate the report directly Please skip to step 5 -10

5.  Click the Submit Job button in Die Simulation window See Figure 4

6.  The Submit Job dialog box is opened See Figure 5

7.  Click Submit in Submit Job dialog box See Figure 5

8.  The Job Submitter window is opened See Figure 6

9.  The DOS window will also open to show the calculation process See Figure 7

10.  When the calculation has been completed, the Report button is activated

11.  Click the Report button in the Die Simulation window and the Formability Report

dialog box is opened See Figure 8 and Figure 9

12.  Click Apply in the Formability Report dialog box See Figure 9

13.  The eta/Post-Processor will run and a formability report is generated See Figure 10
