character, and others to describe their physical
appearance These words are called “adjectives”
Remember:
-The Adjective is a word we use to tell us more about the noun
- It comes:
a before the noun: such as "a fat boy."
b after the verb "be": such as "Ahmad is thin."
- The adjective can be:
a short adjective: if it has one or two syllables (fast – heavy)
b long adjective: if it has more than two syllables (beautiful – dangerous)
Example:
- Grandpa is an old man, but he walks slowly
(In this case, the adjective “old” modifies the word “man”)

- Face: oval – round – square – cheeks – lips – chin – freckles
- Hair: wavy – curly – frizzy – straight – long – short – bald

- Skin: dark – fair – soft
