machinery, and equipment in the engine room and on the deck, and shall assist the Master in the appropriate utilization and maintenance of the SMS C/E’s responsibilities include:

Prior to the vessel's planned docking repairs, submit repair lists to the Master for the
Company's decision on repair items which
includes work items to be carried out by hands themselves
crew- In case of emergency, such as fire, going
aground, collision, or flooding of engine room, immediately contact the Master to report to the Company and taking necessary measures to control, remedy, or minimize the damage as
far as possible
Trang 262.5 DUTY OF C/E
C/E’s Standing Orders shall be written to reflect the
C/E’s own particular requirements and should be
operated without conflict within the SMS.
C/E’s Standing Orders shall be read and signed
accordingly by all Engineers.
A copy of the orders shall be available on the Engine Control Room for reference.
And C/E’s Order Book shall be written, in addition to C/E’s Standing Orders and general instruction, specific instruction may be needed for special circumstances.

To make the best use of your onboard training, trainees must first correctly realize and understand the aims of onboard training.
This training is designed to provide trainees with basic
practice in the ship operation based on its knowledge acquired at Vietnam Maritime University.
Through actual sailing of the NSS ship, trainees are
expected to acquire not only understanding and skillfulness in ship operation that are indispensable for ship’s officers but also awareness of leadership,
