Sampling flow

 Proto Tech pack – The initial informative sheet which

encompasses all specifications required for the development

of a proto sample

 Proto sample :- made on substitute fabrics, using available accessories and then checked on the dress form Further the quality checker checks the sample, and makes the necessary changes pertaining to the fit, the drape, the style details etc

 Fit sample : fit of the garment assumes importance here It is usually done on

actual fabrics and substitute trims and accessories and sent to the buyer for necessary alterations to be made

 Size set samples : Size Set Sample - done as per the buyer requests and

equivalent to the pre production sample except that it is done in all the sizes

 Top of Production (TOP) samples : done on the actual fabric using the actual

trims and the fit has to be perfect It is simply a example to the actual

production

Time and action plan

1 Proto Tech pack Received form the buyers

2 Proto sample

2-3 days for domestic buyers and 5-6 days for foreign buyers 2 samples

3 Fit sample

Starts after 1-2 days, takes 2-3 days for domestic buyers and 5-6 days for foreign buyers

1-2 samples

4 Size set samples 1-2 days 1 from each size

5 Top of Production

(TOP) samples 1 day.Approved in a day 8-10 and best 2 are sent
