UNIT SIX: THE SCHOOL FESTIVALS.

Lesson 1: Section A (1, 2, 3).

I Objectives:

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to talk about some school festivals

or celebration, ask and answer about the even happening in the past

- Teacher’s aids: student’s book, e – planning, sheet of paper ( for exercise 2 – workbook – page 41)

 School Festival: Ngày hội trường

 Yesterday: (translate) ngày hôm qua.

Have Ss to study the picture (A1) and discuss the content

 Look at the picture and tell me:

1 Who are they?

2 Where are they?

3 What are they doing?

Ss: “Mai and Li Li are talking

in the school yard”

 “Let’s listen to the dialogue between

Mai and Li Li”

Play the tape 3 times; ask Ss look at the picture and listen to the tape

 The first time, Ss listen for detail.

 The 2 nd , Ss look at the picture, listen and repeat sentence by sentence.

 The 3 rd , Ss look at the dialogue, listen
