I Warm-up
- Call 4 students to use their body language to
describe the given words
- Other students will guess the words
Words: kick, goal, gun, dog
II Pronunciation:
a Write two sounds on the board and
pronounce them clearly twice, then ask
students to repeat
- Tell students how to pronounce these sounds
accurately
/ k / : a voiceless sound
/ g / : a voiced sound
- Ask students to work in pairs to read the
words so that they can check for each other
- Ask two students to read again and give
remarks
b Practice these sentences.
- Ask students to read each question and then
ask students whether it is /k/ or /g/
- Ask students to practice pronouncing at
home
