Warm - up: Guessing game

- T prepares the Braille alphabet & the follow encoded word

- T explains game’s rule: Ss will work individually & use the

Braille alphabet to decode the secreted word, which is the

name of a very famous film, in 30 seconds; the student who

can give the answer first will be the winner

- T gives Ss the below example:

- T has the class play the game

- T finds out the winner

Lead- in: Do you know “Titanic”? Today we will continue Unit

13 “Film & Cinema”, part C: Listening.

I PRE- LISTENING

- T shows the picture in textbook (p.136) on the slide & elicits

(T points at Lan , Huong & asks Ss: “Who is this?”, T elicits:

Where Lan & Huong is? etc ).

- T has Ss to guess what Lan & Huong are talking about &

planning to do
