I Objectives:

- By the end of the lesson the students will be able to have some basic

background information about the difference between American and Asian thoughts on love and marriage such as physical attractiveness, confiding,

partnership of equals, trust built on love

- Improve their reading skill by explaining the meaning of words and answering questions

II Method: mainly communicative
