7 Materials: textbooks, blackboard, chalk, hand-outs, projector
8 Anticipated problems: Students (Ss) may not know many vocabulary items related
to music, so Teacher (T) should be ready to introduce some
9 Procedure
T divides the whole class into 2 groups: A & B Each group
will join the small competition in turn
Rule: + Ss in each group choose 1 people in their own group
to come to the board and write answers
+ In turn, in 2 mins, each group will hear 4 pieces of
music, listen to T’s questions, and give answers Which group
has more right answers will be the winner; in case 2 groups
have the same number of right answers, the quicker will be
the winner
Question: Listen to a piece of music, and tell the
name, the composer/the singer, and the type of music it
belongs to Remember only 1 answer is accepted Be quick
and be careful ^^
