1 For easy navigation it is recommended to use the Bookmarks in the Adobe Acrobat

2 For optimal viewing of the text and graphics, try to determine best zoom level for your system Usually 100% zooming works best

3 Following are the conventions used in the tutorials

 All menu picks are designated by bold text

 “ > “ indicates consecutive menu selections Example Insert > Model Datum > Plane

 Any keyboard input is displayed in Bold and italics Example BLANK

4 It is always assumed that configuration file option enable_absolut_accuracy is set to Yes

5 If some plane or curve is not visible on screen that has been mentioned in a lesson, then check that if the corresponding layer has not been blanked or hidden

6 Make sure that Features option is checked in Model Tree Items dialog box

CAD MODELS

1 The CAD models for user practice are given in the EXERCISES folder

2 The finished CAD models are given in FINALIZED folder to compare the work done

by the user

3 While unzipping, make sure to maintain the directory structure otherwise you will not

be able to see the correct directory structure for opening the CAD models In Winzip the related option is highlighted in the figure below
