Câu hỏi đuôi gồm có hai phần: Câu nói (statement) + phần đuôi (tag) ?

Có hai loại câu hỏi đuôi: 1 Câu nói khẳng định, đuôi phủ định?

2 Câu nói phủ định, đuôi khẳng định?

(Giáo viên đưa ra ví dụ trước, sau đó gọi học sinh nhận xét GV đưa ra kết luận cho từng loại câu).

Ex: Mr Ha is tall, isn’t he ?

1 Thì hiện tại đơn với tobe sử dụng : am, is, are.

Ex: Ba was friendly, wasn’t he ?

2 Thì quá khứ đơn với động từ tobe sử dụng: was, were.

Ex: Ba plays soccer, doesn’t he ?

3 Thì hiện tại đơn với động từ thường mượn: do, does.

Ex: Lan didn’t plant that tree, did she ?

4 Thì quá khứ đơn với động từ thường mượn: did.

Ex: Ba and Lan have left, haven’t they ?

5 Thì hiện tại hoàn thành sử dụng: have, has.
