1. Click the Start menu and click Run, such as Figure 8-6 shows

If you have active firewall protection on your PC, it’s likely the prob-lem If your firewall software alerts you to an Internet access attempt from Optimize, make sure you authorize the access

In addition, the Windows XP firewall utility may be preventing access; therefore you should ensure Optimize is given authorization

to access the Internet

You’ll need to set your firewall to allow www.pcpitstop.com The corresponding IP is 64.29.201.21
