THE TOPIC 1 :PERSONAL INFORMATION

I.Objectives :Sts will be able to :

+ Introduce people and respond to introductions + Describe people’s appearance

+Ask & answer about personal information + Ask for and give reasons

V.Steps of teaching :

1.Warm up : Adjective square (10 minutes )

-T divide class into 2 groups

-T asks sts to find out 9 adjectives

-Sts go to the black board and write the words

-The group which has more right words will win

-T has key : 1 kind ;

2.friendly , 3.shy 4.hard working 5.sociable 6.reserved 7.humorous 8.outgoing 9.helpful

2.Activity 1: GUESSING GAME (10 minutes )

- T hangs 6 pictures on the board

3.Activity 2 : ASK FOR AND GIVE REASONS

- T has some situations :

-Sts work in pairs to ask and answer about the above situations

- Sts complete the following dialogue Using the words in the box

- T divides class into 2 groups

-Sts play game with guiding of teacher

- A st of G1 says :” I’m going to take a trip to Africa What am I going to do there ?” -A st of G2 answer :” You are going to answer advertisement in Africa “ and continue saying “ I’m going to take a trip to Brazil What am I going to there ?

- Another of G1 will answer ……….

4 Homework :

- Learn by heart Words

- Practice the dialogue in the activity 1

- Write the dialogue into the notebook

- Review the structures
