- T gives some cues and asks Ss to make a complete sentence

- T shows 4 pictures on the screen

- T introduces new lesson: today, we are going to learn about /sl/- /sm/- /sn/-/sw/

2 Practice reading aloud this dialogue( 5 mins)

A: Is Snowy at home? Snowy Smith?

A: Perhaps Snowy is in there But he is not asleep.

* Notes:

- A relative pronoun can be the object of preposition

- In formal English we can put the preposition before

whom or which We cannot leave out whom or which here,

and we cannot use who or that.

- In informal English the preposition can come after the

verb or the object of the verb We can also leave out the

relative pronoun

* Exercise 1: ( 5 mins) Choose the suitable italicized words

to complete the following sentences
