ty es of mot or vehicles def ined in ISO 3 3

It is a plca le t o vehicles using compr s ed g seous hydrog en (CGH2)in ac ordanc with ISO 146 7-1

or ISO 146 7- 2 an hydrog en/natural g s blen s using natural g s in ac ordanc with ISO 1 40 -1 an

ISO/TR 1 40 - 2 It is not a plca le t o the fol owing:

6.4 Continued operation

6.4.1 Tes the automatic v lve in ac ordanc with the pr oc dur e for tes ing contin ed o eration g iven

of wor king pr es ure, or, if the automatic v lve is closed d ring comman ed s o phases, the v lve shal

be submited to the folowing n mbe s of o er ations during testing ac ording to ISO 1 6 9-2 but lowe

the downstr eam pr es ur e of the tes fix tur e to les than 2 % of wor king pres ur e:

a) 2 0 00 cycles (mark “ H1” if the engine sh t of aut omatical y w hen thevehicle comes t o a halt ;

b) 5 0 0 0 cycles (mark “ H2” if, in ad ition t o a), the engine also sh t of aut omaticaly w hen the

vehicle driveswith the ele tric mot or only;

c) 1 0 0 0 0 cycles (mark “ H3” if, in ad ition t o a), the engine also sh t of aut omatical y w hen the

ac ele at or pedal is r leased

the a ut omatic v lve shal be con e t ed se ur ly b a suita le f it ing t o a pr s uriz d sour e of

dry air, nitrog en or natural g s C n e t the outlet t o a pipe or tube of the ty e spe ified b the

man factur r an of at leas 1m in length each

c) The outlet of theaut omatic v lve shal be vent ed unti the inlet is at atmosphe ic pr s ur , an then

theoutlet of the v lve shal be closed

d) Working pr s ur shal be ins antaneously a pled t o the inlet
