5.1 General

5.1.1 Atmospher ic c onditio s for tests

5.1.1.1 Unles othe wise s ated in a tes pr oc d re, con uct the tes ing afe the tes spe imen has

be n alowed to s a i z in the stan ar d atmosphe ic con itions for tes ing as spe ified in IEC 60 6

-1 as folows:

— t empe atur : (1 t o 3 )°C;

— r lative h midity:(2 t o 7 ) %;

— air pr s ur : ( 86 t o 1 6) k a

5.1.2 Mo nting arrang ements

The spe imen shal be mount ed b it normal means of at achment in ac ordanc with the

man factur r’s ins ructions If these ins ructions desc ibe mor than one method of mounting, then

5.1.3 Operating c onditio s for tests

5.1.3.1 If a tes method r eq ir es that a spe imen beo erational, then the spe imen shal be con e ted

to suitable sup ly an monitoring eq ipment with characte istics as r eq ir ed b the man factur er’s

data Unles othe wise spe ified in the tes method, the sup ly p ramete s a pled to the spe imen shal

be set within the man facturer’s spe ified r ang e( ) an shal r emain subs antialy constant throughout

the tests The v lue chosen for each p ramete shal normaly be the nominal v lue or the mean of the

spe ified rang e
