6.2 T wo clamps, to be atached to the en sof the tes pie e, with suspension lug s for atachment to the

suspen ing wir es The cons r uction of the clamps shal alow for a r ig id b r or s raightedg e to be plac d

in contact with the belt , as shown in Fig ure 2, to es a lsh the datum lne ne es ary for measuring the

defle tion The clamps shal be suficiently wide an rig id to maintain the width of the tes pie es free

from curv tur e, and shal exe t no ben ing moment which might influenc the defle tion of the tes pie e

attachment to the horizontal b rs an clamps The attachment to thehorizontal b rs an clamps should

not impede the free mo ement of the adjustable s ir ups when maintaining the suspension wir es in the

7 Test piec e

7.1 Dimensions

The t es pie e shal conform t o the fol owing r q ir ment :

a) it form shal be a r ctangular p ralelepiped;

b) it length, L, shal be the o e al width of the ins aled convey r belt, w hen laid flat ;

c) it width, in the longitu inal dir ction of the belt, shal be (1 0 ± 2)mm;

d) it thick es , d, shal be the o e al thick es of the convey r belt
