THE NEW TIMELINE FOR FACEBOOK PAGES
Facebook’s new timeline feature has rolled out for all brand pages since March 30th So it’s important tounderstand the following elements, how to use them and what they are for:

Before you get all too excited about the promotional space that the Timeline cover photo has to offer, besure to adhere to the general guidelines as follows
“This space is not meant for promotions, coupons, or advertisements Your cover photo should not
be primarily text-based or infringe on anyone else’s copyright.
Cover images may not contain:
§ Price or purchase information, such as “40% off” or “Download it at our website”
§ Contact information, such as web address, email, mailing address or other information intendedfor your Page’s About section
§ References to user interface elements, such as Like or Share, or any other Facebook site features
§ Calls to action, such as “Get it now” or “Tell your friends”
The old custom apps still function on the new timeline, except there is no longer a default landing
