1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose of Project
The Project, North – South Expressway (HCMC– Dau Giay Section), was originally
configured as a section from the starting point of RR2 HCMC (KM4+000, that is the starting
point of viaduct) to the ending point of Dau Giay (KM54+982) with a total length of about
51km expressway
Due to demarcation of the component between East-West Highway project and the
Project, the section between KM0+000 and KM4+000 plus the Ring Road 2 interchage were
decided to be included into the Project
1.2 Project Description

4.2 Responsibility and Authority
4.2.1 Project Manager
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the management of this Project

4.2.6 Project Quality Assurance Engineers
T h e P r o j e c t Q u a l i t y A s s u r a n c e E n g i n e e r i s a p p o i n t e d b y t h e P r o j e c t Manager/Project QEHS Manager, who has the responsibility and authority on
all aspects relating to the quality and quality control of the works including stoppage of the work which is not in compliance with the Contract He can instruct any removal of any or all non-conforming work placed/installed
His duties include:
Ensure quality non-conformance found on site corrected with records
Review for preventive measure from re-occurrence
Provide training if required
Verify purchased products and materials with records
A s s i s t i n t h e p r e p a r a t i o n o f P M P w i t h i d e n t i f i c a t i o n o f s p e c i a l construction process, if any

4.2.15 Procurement Assistant
T h i s P r o c u r e m e n t A s s i s t a n t i s r e s p o n s i b l e f o r t h e c o n t r o l o f p u r c h a s i n g materials for this Project with maintenance of the records to its latest status
The Procurement Assistant (or called Purchaser) shall provide the followings under the supervision of the Office Manager:
