Cambridge Young Learner English Test Flyers 7: Student Book These practice tests from Cambridge ESOL are designed to evaluate the English level of primary learners aged 712. Updated to reflect the 2007 changes, they provide the first step towards the Cambridge ESOL main suite exams ( KET, PET and FCE). There are 3 sets of tests for each of the 3 levels: Cambridge Starters, Cambridge Movers and Cambridge Flyers. Each set contains 3 fullcolour test, and an answer booklet. This is the second edition of Cambridge Young Learners English Tests 1 and is suitable for use with the new 2007 syllabus.

Introduction

The Cambridge Young Learners English Tests offer an elementary-level testing system (up to CEFR level

A2) for [earners of English between the ages of 7 and 12 The rests include 3 key levels of assessment: Starters,

Mouers and Flyms

Flyms is the third level in the system Test instructions are very simple and consist only of words and

structures specified in the syllabus

The complete test lasts about one hour and a quarter ahd has the fof lowing components: Listening, Reading

and Writing, and Speaking

approx 25 minutes

Candidates need a pen or pencil for the Reading and Rrriring paper, and coloured pens or pencils for the
