A Read Jason’s description of a special day.
The 4th of July is my favourite day of the year In America we
call this day Independence Day People have fun and lots of
families have parties I send invitations to all my cousins and
they come to our house They like coming to my city, Atlanta,
because there is a big carnival here In the morning we watch
the parade Lots of people wear great costumes There are
red, white and blue balloons in the streets and the city looks
great Some people have picnics in the park, but we go home
and we have lunch in our garden Dad makes hamburgers
and we have ice cream We sing songs and we have fun! In
the evening there are fireworks in the city They’re amazing!
People in my street watch the fireworks and we have a huge
street party I always love it!
