Scholarship Program
About the Program
The ETS Employees’ Community Action Fund (ECAF) scholarship program is funded entirely by the monetary contributions of company staff The program was established to assist graduating seniors in New Jersey in their goal of earning a higher education degree ECAF has awarded more than $900,000
in scholarships to nearly 200 students since 2011
A one-time scholarship up to $10,000 each is awarded to selected students entering their freshman year
of college or other higher education institutions
Who Is Eligible?
New Jersey public high school seniors who have significant and verifiable challenges are eligible to apply
for the scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled full time in an accredited, postsecondary nonprofit educational institution
(two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school).
Applicants must include an essay describing a significant challenge or hardship they have overcome Educational experience and academic transcripts are also required Participation in activities, community involvement and an indication of financial need are requested
What’s the Time Line?
The scholarship application period opens in November and closes in April of the following year Award decisions are announced in May
Applications can be completed online Required documents, such as high school transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc., can be uploaded to the ECAF scholarship site Check online after November 15
