This year the Idaho FFA Foundation scholarship application is 100% online! You will complete ONE application for all the scholarships you are applying for In the scholarship selection section of the application, you will reach a series of questions specific to the
requirements/eligibility of each of the individual scholarships
Depending on your eligibility you will answer eligibility questions and continue with the specific questions for each of the separate scholarships All students must complete the essay section on the main application
For questions on your eligibility of each scholarship, the
scholarship requirements and rules are in the following pages of this document Make sure to select text message notifications so you can receive updates on the scholarships you applied for
Once your application is submitted you will be notified by the
beginning of February if you are a recipient of a 2022 scholarship

Trang 3Tami Earll Daniel Scholarship
To be awarded:
• 1- $1,000 Scholarship
Thank you to the Daniel Family for offering the opportunity for a post-secondary education scholarship Tami Earll Daniel was a member of the Melba FFA Chapter Tami loved raising and showing sheep, beef cattle, and horses During her FFA career she served as a chapter officer and competed in livestock and dairy judging CDEs Tami also participated in prepared public speaking and was a member of the parliamentary procedure team She served as the State Conference Parliamentarian in 1979
Tami enjoyed sharing her fitting and showing skills and was always willing to help teach young 4-H and FFA members how to care for, prepare, and present their animals
In November 1987 Tami was serving as a chaperone for members of the Melba Chapter who were attending the National FFA Convention in Kansas City On the trip home their plane crashed while taking off from Denver Tami and Melba Chapter members Sherry Nelson and Janine Ledgerwood were among the people killed by the crash
Education and scholarship were very important to Tami We honor Tami’s memory by
sponsoring this scholarship in her name We hope that this gift will help FFA members
continue their education and pursue their dreams
Specific Rules and Eligibility Requirements
1 Available to students enrolled in a post-secondary education undergraduate program
at a college, university, or technical school
2 Applicate must have completed at least five semesters of agricultural education
classes, be currently enrolled as a member of their local FFA Chapter and the Idaho FFA Association, be a current high school senior, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA
3 Applicants will receive equal consideration whether they are attending an in-state or out of state institution, or whether the institution is a college, university, or
vocational/technical school
4 Scholarships will be awarded to students with any declared major
5 The winner will be selected by representatives of the Daniel family

A special thank you goes to Sid Freeman of Caldwell for continuing the Scholarship Raffle Project and the Scholarship Program for the past 12 years,
to the Idaho FFA Alumni who are assisting with this project and the
scholarship selection process, and to FFA Chapters all over the state who are working hard to ensure the success of the Tractor Raffle and this valuable scholarship program
Specific Rules & Eligibility Requirements
1 Applicant must be currently enrolled as a member of their local Idaho FFA Chapter and the Idaho FFA Association, be a current high school senior, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA Your chapter must be listed below to participate as only students in chapters who sell scholarship raffle tickets are eligible
2 All FFA members who meet the eligibility requirements for the $1,000 scholarships will be considered A minimum of at least one scholarship per district will be awarded
3 If a student applies for a $2,000 Agricultural Education Scholarship but does not receive one, they will still be considered in the regular scholarship pool for the $1,000 scholarships
4 The agriculture education scholarship is designed for students who want to
pursue an agriculture education degree Scholarship funds for the Ag Ed
scholarship are issued in the following manner: $500 Fall Sophomore Semester, $500 Fall Junior Semester, $500, Fall Senior Semester and $500 Student Teaching Semester
If a student applies for the Ag Ed scholarship the Idaho FFA Foundation will ask for a degree audit to ensure the student is showing progress towards an Agriculture
Education degree If progress is not shown towards this degree, the student forfeits
the entire scholarship amount Please do not apply to this scholarship if you have
no intention of majoring in agriculture education.

state or out-of-state institution, or whether the institution is a university, college, or vocational/technical school Students majoring in all fields of study are eligible to apply
6 Student must complete the applicable raffle scholarship essay questions to be eligible

established in 1980 to provide Idaho’s dairy farm families with resources to
support a prosperous Idaho dairy industry In 2017, UDI transitioned to Dairy West – the future of Idaho’s dairy checkoff program
Dairy West whose mission is “creating a world where farmers and the dairy
industry prosper and, together, build healthy communities around the globe,” is

2 Scholarships may be awarded to students attending the University of Idaho, Utah State University, Oregon State University, Washington State University, Brigham Young University, or Brigham Young University-Idaho
3 Scholarships will be awarded to students in majors and planned career paths
in the dairy cattle production or dairy food science areas

2 Scholarships will be granted to high school seniors with declared majors in, and college students currently enrolled in Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Food
Science or in the field of Agriculture with preference to those in dairy science- related majors

Vocational/Technical schools) will receive preference; however, applicants attending in-state or out-of-state institutions will be considered and final
