Why is grading a part of TD’s role

& so important?

• We are not fitting the main size only

• We need to maintain the fit integrity to

other sizes as well

• There is a reason why we need to grade

How to check the grading?

• Understand the design intension

• Group POMs

• Check graded amount between the sizes

Extraordinary Styles

• Shoulder Styles

- Across Shoulder, Across Front & back

should follow the chest width

- A/H straight should be as upper arm width

- Sleeve length should be the same for all sizes (Plus size should be shorter than Missy size)

Ordinary Styles, but easy to forget

•

- Neck width should be graded as

Across Shoulder width

- Add strap width @ shoulder seam

- Neck width should be wide enough to control A/H gapping
