2021 Blake High School Advanced Placement Testing
Advanced Placement (AP) classes give students the chance to tackle college-level work while still
in high school—whether learning online or in the classroom Through taking AP Exams, students can
earn college credit and placement All Hillsborough County AP students are expected to take the AP
exams, which are in line with expectations of university professors that students take the final exam and district expectations that students take semester exams aligned to the course
The ON CAMPUS AP exam administration will be from May 3 rd - May 17 th 2021 The exam dates,
times, and locations are listed in the chart below In preparation for the upcoming exams, please take
note of the following:
Students taking an 8 AM exam MUST arrive on campus at the testing location no later than 7:45
AM for check in to begin the exam on time (enter through the Main Office) Students may need
to arrange transportation for the exam day to ensure appropriate arrival time Once the exam
time begins, a student WILL NOT be able to start the exam late and WILL NOT be able to test
that date
Students taking a 12 PM exam MUST arrive on campus at the testing location no later than
11:30 AM for check in to begin the exam on time Students may need to arrange transportation home Some of the exam times may end AFTER the end of school, and the student WILL NOT be
able to ride the bus home
Students should arrive ON TIME for all exams, bring a snack, sealable drink container, wear
comfortable clothing, and bring a sweater/jacket in case they get cold in the testing room
Students WILL NOT have access to their electronic devices until after they have been dismissed
from the exam
Students taking an exam that allows for a calculator, please double check with your AP teacher
PRIOR to the exam date that you have an approved device Calculators WILL NOT be provided in the exam room, and unapproved devices will not be allowed for use during the exam Bring up
to two calculators of the appropriate type (AP Biology, Calculus, Environmental Science, or
Statistics only)
Student’s must sign in to My AP to indicate which college or university they’d like to receive
their free score report (for Seniors) To add the free score report recipient, students sign in to
My AP (myap.collegeboard.org), go to My AP Profile, and then click the Score Send tab The
deadline for students to indicate or change their free score report recipient is June 20, 2021
