SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
2019-2020
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
1 The student must be enrolled in an accredited junior college, community college, or four-year university
2 The scholarship program is limited to 2nd through 5th year students 1st year and graduate students are not eligible for a scholarship Student must have at least one full school year remaining before graduation to be eligible
3 The student must be pursuing a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) major
4 The student applying for the SAPA scholarship must submit the following information no later than May 31,2019:
a The completed SAPA Scholarship Form
b Two (2) letters of recommendation (need to be signed, sealed, and not from family)
c Official transcripts for the most recently completed year at an accredited college or
university The transcript must come from the registrar’s office in a sealed envelope and mailed to SAPA at the address below

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP TO INSTITUTION
1 Funds that are sent from SAPA to the school via certified mail The signed receipt is proof that the funds were received by the school
2 The school must apply 100% of the scholarship funds to the student’s tuition expense

1 What if the college doesn’t have a record of my scholarship?
• Funds are sent by registered mail so SAPA has a record of the delivery If there are any questions about the delivery of your scholarship, please contact Colton Shannon
2 Do I need to re-submit transcripts next year?
• Your scholarship is for one year You must re-apply each subsequent year if the student wants another scholarship
