² Caddies: At most courses, caddies can only be

requested and not guaranteed However, GoPlay Golf

maintains a healthy relationship with the Caddie

Masters at all the venues we use, and we will do

everything within our means to ensure you have an

adequate supply of caddies throughout your tour The

average cost for a caddy is £50.00 + £15.00 tip

limited supply of golf carts, and reserve them only for

golfers with very serious medical conditions A doctor’s

note is often required to reserve a cart for the day of

play Often times the course will require a caddy to

drive the golf cart GoPlay is happy to assist in the

reservation process of golf carts for those who require

them

²  Pull Carts (Trollies): Pull carts are typically £5.00 and

are available at each golf course without requiring a

reservation Golfers requiring a pull cart may simply rent

one through the Caddie Master or Pro-Shop upon

arrival to the golf course

Advanced Reservations 2019

•  Applications must be submitted between August 24th-

September 7th 2018 GoPlay Golf Tours is happy to assist in this

process however it must be executed by the lead golfer In

order to enter – a valid USGA handicap, home course and the

names of the confirmed traveling golfers must be provided

beginning of 2018, with a limited inventory of reallocated Old

Course tee times from the initial ballot process

48 Hour Ballot

•  This enables golfers who are in the area the opportunity to

play the course during their visit The ballot is drawn two days

ahead of play (except for Sundays) Groups may apply to this

each day you plan to be in St Andrews A valid USGA

handicap, home course and the names of the confirmed

traveling golfers must be provided

PLAYING THE OLD COURSE

Singles Line

•  Single golfers who wish to play the Old Course without an existing tee time should check in at the Old Pavilion on the day of the play Typically the line starts at 4am depending on the time of year There is no obligation for existing golfers to make up a four-ball but common practice is that single golfers are warmly welcomed Depending on the day, typically the first 15 golfers are paired up with existing groups The starter will advise the single golfer when they might play and request they return to the Pavilion prior to start for confirmation

Advanced Ballot - Green fees – £320.00 pp

•  If successful in the advance reservations process you are required to book the Old Course plus an additional St

Andrews course Greens fees must be paid directly to St Andrews Links Trust

48 Hour Ballot & Singles Line - Green fees – £185.00 pp

•  If successful in the balloting or singles line process Greens fees must be paid directly to St Andrews Links Trust

Despite it’s overwhelming popularity, the Old Course still upholds the tradition of a ballot This reflects the public spirit of the St Andrews Links and it’s commitment to staying as accessible to all golf lovers The ballot system is truly part of the St Andrews experience and creates a ‘right of passage’ for the golfer who is successful in this process

RESERVATIONS

A $495 deposit is required to reserve your spot for golfers

Tee time availability for this proposal was confirmed prior to presenting the itinerary to the group however availability is subject to change Tee times will not be reserved until the entire group has placed their individual deposits Tee times can not be provisionally held without the entire group placing a deposit Once tee times have been reserved, the deposit is non-refundable
