HONORS PROGRAM: The program includes first-year honors tutorials, mentored
research with faculty, and the opportunity to live in the new Honors House, where 27 students enjoy special programs, study spaces, and comfortable rooms.
ECONOMICS MANAGEMENT FELLOWS: This is a highly competitive program
for first-year students interested in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, or international business Fellows receive special scheduling and advising, a book scholarship, and a fully paid trip to Wall Street in New York.
ACCOUNTING FELLOWS: Selected students participate in internships and
faculty-led trips that offer the opportunity to combine classroom knowfaculty-ledge with real-world accounting research and application.
GLOBAL SCHOLARS: Accepted students complete a senior project and receive a
$4,000 grant to pursue an international research or study project of their choice.
GRADUATE STUDENT PATHWAYS: Qualified students receive
guaranteed admission and 30% tuition discount to Carnegie Mellon University to earn master’s degrees in Public Policy, Information Systems Management, Health Care Policy and Management, Information Security and several other areas.
3–2 ENGINEERING PROGRAMS: These accelerated programs allow
students to spend three years at OWU and two at partner universities (like Cal Tech, Washington University in St Louis, Case Western Reserve University, or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) to earn a bachelor’s degree from OWU and an engineering degree in fields such as biomedical, computer, and mechanical engineering.
NEW YORK ARTS PROGRAM: Students spend a semester in New York
living in the New Yorker Hotel in midtown and completing internships and apprenticeships with professionals in various artistic fields.
