1.5 Contraindications

X-ray radiation is prohibited in pregnant women and children It is strictly prohibited for patients and operators with cardiac pacemakers and other

implantable electronic devices

1.6 Precautions, warnings and tips

●Safety precautions

When using this device, be sure to follow the basic safety precautions listed below to reduce the risk of device damage, fire, electric shock, personal injury and other hazards:

* Follow all warnings and instructions given on the device and in the

accompanying text document If any operating instructions conflict with the safety information, pay attention to the safety information as you may have misinterpreted the operating instructions If you cannot resolve the conflict, contact a professional service person for help

* Please turn off the device's main power before maintenance and cleaning

* Do not place the device on unstable floors, carts or racks as the device may fall and cause damage

* Do not place the device near radiators or heaters

* Do not use the device in the presence of any flammable anesthetic gas mixed with air or flammable anesthetic gas mixed with oxygen or nitrous oxide

* Do not place or hang heavy objects on the device

* Do not use wires that do not comply with the requirements of the device Otherwise, its performance may be compromised or a fire or an electric shock may even be caused

* Do not push anything into the device through the housing or the opening on the housing, because this may touch a dangerous voltage position and thereby cause a fire or an electric shock Do not spill any liquid on the device

* To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the device without prior authorization If you need to repair the device, please contact

professional technical service personnel

* Opening or removing the cover may expose you to dangerous voltages or other dangers Improper assembly may cause electric shocks during

Warning: Before proceeding in accordance with the contents of this chapter, please confirm that the installation and commissioning are completed properly according to the device installation and maintenance manual

2.1 Description of the SIRAY Max operating panel and operation keys

2.1.2 Description of buttons and symbols

Power Switch When the Power switch is pressed and held, the device will be ON or OFF

Exposure Button

When the Exposure button is pressed, the ready-for-exposure will proceed and the countdown of 5s will be displayed When the Exposure button is pressed and held within the countdown, the exposure will proceed, and the screen will display the exposure interface and the buzzer will emit the prompting sound When the exposure is completed, the screen will return to the standby interface and the prompting sound will stop

Maxillary

Incisor After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Maxillary

Premolar/Canine After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Maxillary Molar After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Molar After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Large Size After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Small Size After being selected, the icon will be in selected state

Increase Adjust the exposure time Press and to increase and

reduce the exposure time The grading number of the loading time

2.2 SIRAY Max parameter settings and using method

2.2.1 Turn on the device

After checking the installation and making sure that the battery is sufficient, turn on the power switch After the self-test is completed, it will display the standby interface:

2.2.2 Operation settings

2.2.2.1 Choose patient size

Choose patient size: select the corresponding icon according to the large or small body type, and the corresponding icon will be in selected state

2.2.2.2 Choose tooth position (6 icons in total)

Choose tooth position: select corresponding tooth position icon on the touch screen according to the shooting requirements, and the corresponding icon will be

in selected state

2.2.2.3 Adjust exposure time

Adjust the exposure time via the icons of and The display screen will display the corresponding exposure time simultaneously The grading number of loading time is selected according to the number system of R’10

For general dental radiological diagnostic equipment, the exposure time depends on the following factors: patient’s conditions, teeth photographed and the penetrability adjustment of generator

The Exposure Time Table in Section 2.8 provides guidelines for the exposure time of common generators These are approximate values The exposure time under each option can be adjusted otherwise: increase the exposure time if the image displayed is too dark, and vice versa

2.2.2.4 Exposure

When the exposure button is pressed, get-ready exposure will proceed and the countdown of 5s will be displayed; when the exposure button is pressed and held within the countdown, the screen will display the exposure interface and the buzzer will emit the prompting sound When the exposure is completed, the screen will return to the standby interface and the prompting sound will stop

Press the system settings icon to enter the settings interface: turn the page via the icons of and The functions are: language settings, security settings, brightness and sound, parameter settings, mode selection, runtime counter, standby time, system reset Press Exit

Press the security settings icon to enter the interface If the machine already has been set the password, you must enter 4-digit password before security settings Select reset password to enter the password settings interface When a new

4-digit password is entered and confirmed, the password resetting will succeed after it is entered and confirmed again Press Exit to return to the settings interface Select the up and down slider to select ON or OFF, and the corresponding icon will

be enlarged and selected Press Save & Exit to return to the settings interface

2.2.3.3 Brightness and sound settings

Press the brightness and sound settings icon to enter the interface Scroll

up and down to select the brightness (10 levels) and sound (ON and OFF), and the corresponding icon will be enlarged and selected Press Save & Exit to return to the settings interface

2.2.3.4Parameter settings

Press the parameter settings icon to enter the interface and select the tooth position (6) and body type (2) Scroll up and down to select the exposure time and the corresponding icon will be enlarged and selected Just press Save If you press and confirm Reset all values, all the parameters will be reset to factory settings Press Exit to return to the settings interface

2.2.3.5 Mode selection

Press the mode selection icon to enter the interface, scroll up and down to select the PSP/digital program/film-speed D/film-speed E/film-speed F, and the corresponding icon will be enlarged and selected Press Save & Exit to return to the settings interface

Press the runtime counter icon to enter the interface and check the cumulative exposure times Press Exit to return to the settings interface
