• Kích thước của liếp tùy theo số lượng lục bình

• Kích thước thông thường: dài 5mX rộng 2m X cao 1.5m

• Đánh dấu vị trí làm liếp nổi bằng 4 cây sào tre cắm 4

• Rễ lục bình nên lật lên trên, lá ở dưới

• Đặt liếp ở nơi nước tĩnh, không quá sâu và ít sóng lớn

• Ưu tiên nơi có dòng nước lưu chuyển

• Đặt liếp trên mặt nước nơi đủ ánh nắng, tránh nơi có

bóng râm

Tips: Location and size of beds

• Floating bed size depends on water hyacinth availability

• Usually: 5 m long X 2 m wide X 1.5 m high

• Mark the area of above size in water with 4 stick in 4

corners or put a rectangular bamboo frame

• Water hyacinth roots should be on the outside; leaves should be on the inside

• Place the beds in calm, shallow water, without waves

• Gentle flow of water is good

• Dùng lục bình già để đắp liếp – cây khoảng 30 ngàyhoặc cao ít nhất 50 cm

• Lục bình nhỏ, non dễ bị phân hủy quá nhanh

• Lục bình nhỏ, non có thể đặt bên trên liếp để phânhủy nhanh

• Use mature water hyacinth to make the beds – 30 days old plants or at least 50 cm tall.

• Small, young plants get rotten too quickly.

• But we can spread young, small plants on the top of the

floating beds for quicker decomposition.

Lưu ý

• Liếp nổi cần có thời gian chuẩn bị từ 20 – 30 ngày trước khi trồng –

20-30 days to get ready for cultivation – top layer gets soft and decomposed, seems like mud)

• Nếu gieo quá sớm, hạt giống có thể chết vị bị phân hủy

(If seeds are sown earlier, they may get killed from decomposition)

• Nên trồng xen một vài loại rau trên 1 liếp, để dễ thu hoạch xoay vòng

(Good to cultivate more than one vegetable on a bed, it allows regular harvesting cycle)

• Không nên đứng trên liếp quá nhiều, nếu liếp mỏng có thể bị yếu Cố
