Carrier Networks

ADC modular solutions supply everything you need to build and operate a GSM network and provide services You can create complete networks including the radio access nodes and the switching core network An ADC network solution also includes built-in databases, service platforms, and management nodes

Features

• MSC/HLR/VLR

• Suitable for small to medium-sized networks

• Value Added Services: Prepaid, SMS VMS, AuC

• Full-featured server/client OMC

• Data Services

• Up to 12 TRX (S444) in one cabinet

How do you benefit?

ADC's modular architecture gives you an edge over the competition Deploy a small regional network at a low entry cost and then expand coverage and capacity to increase revenue

Fixed solutions (WLL)

Increase subscriber penetration with Wireless Local Loop (WLL) WLL uses wireless communications to bridge the

"last mile," providing wireline services with limited mobi-lity It is ideal for areas with little or no wireline infrastruc-ture

Features

• Subscriber capacities for small to medium sized networks

• Value Added Services

• Fax and data services

• Interoperability with other GSM networks

• Up to 12 TRX (S444) in one cabinet

• Rapid deployment

How do you benefit?

All UltraWAVE Solutions Wireless Local Loop lets you "pay

as you grow." Enter the market at a low startup cost, then upgrade to a full mobility network with tiered services and tariffs The scalable, modular system lets you adapt quickly tonew or changed market conditions

Applications

Extension Networks

ADC enables you to extend your network to bring wire-less services to rural or remote areas By locally distribu-ting an MSC and/or BSC, you can substantially improve backhaul compression and reduce the operating expenses involved in supporting remote network nodes

Features

• Local switching via a compact MSC/VLR

• Compressed A interface with satelite backhaul

• Scalable and modular design

How do you benefit?

ADC's scalable modular networks are the ideal solution for remote, low-capacity areas With our distributed net-work architecture, cost-effective backhaul, and low OPEX, you can serve your remote customers more affordably

Network on Wheels (NOW)

With ADC's NOW solution you can activate a complete,

stan-dalone GSM network anywhere, any time The Network On

Wheels contains a BTS, BSC, and MSC in a compact vehicle or

container-mounted unit

Features

• MSC/HLR/VLR

• Value Added Services

• Interoperablility with other GSM networks

• High-power amplifier available

• Satellite or microwave backhaul

How do you benefit?

ADC provides a compact and modular design with setup in only

3 hours You can expand the network with external BTSs, as

well as expand coverage and capacity for emergency situations

and disaster relief

Special Application Networks

ADC's GSM Network-In-A-Box (NIB) is a complete, compact

GSM network designed for small or portable networks Potential

applications include:

• Tactical networks or deployments • Private networks

• Ships and airplanes • Military applications

• Subways and tunnels • Lab systems

Features

• Secure GSM communications

• Satellite or microwave backhaul

• Value Added Services

• Optional HLR/VLR

• Portablility

• Rapid deployment

How do you benefit?

The world's smallest GSM network, ADC's NIB can be

custo-mized for your specific application ADC offers network design

and technical training to help you set up and customize your

network quickly and efficiently
