B GRAMMAR:

Preposition: on and in

On: trên, (giới từ chỉ nơi chốn, vị trí, thời gian)

In: trong (giới từ chỉ nơi chốn, vị trí, thời gian)

IN:

- Chỉ nơi chốn: in the city, in Da Nang city

- Chỉ vị trí: in the basement

- Chỉ thời gian: in 1999, in 10th century, in the summer, in july

ON:

1, chỉ vị trí: on the table, on the the second floor, on the third floor

2, chỉ thời gian: on Monday, on 19th, on December 19th

TOPIC 2: I CAN EXPRESS MY OPINION

A SPEAKING

Cách tán thành và từ chối quan điểm của một ai đó:

- Tán thành:

Yes, I agree

I agree with you I loved it

That’s a good idea

- Không tán thành:

Ta tuyệt đối không từ chối quan điểm của ai đó một cách thẳng thừng ( no, I disagree with you) mà ta nên dùng những cấu trúc sau

Well, I don’t think it’s very good

Personally, I don’t think………

Ta dùng personally để giới thiệu ý kiến của mình

I’m not sure, but I think I prefer……

Ta dùng I am not sure để diễn tả sự không đồng tình một cách lịch sự.

ta dùng công thức have got và has got để chỉ ai đó, vật gì đó có cái gì, ngược lại nếu họ không có thì ta chỉ cần thêm not vào ngay sau have và has

Ví dụ: I have got a cat but he hasn’t

“HAVE TO” và “MUST”:

- Cùng có nghĩa là phải, theo sau hai động từ này là động từ nguyên mẫu

- Tuy nhiên “have to” mang nghĩa là bắt buộc hơn so với “must”

- Các động từ khiếm khuyết thường gặp,

chú ý theo sau những động từ này luôn là động từ nguyên mẫu.

- Can/ could: có thể

- May/ might: có lẽ

- Should/ ought to: nên

Chúng ta hãy thử đặt câu với những động từ trên.

- Các cụm từ hay dùng:

BY: là giới từ được dùng để phương tiện.

Ngoài ra by còn được dùng trong thể bị động, ví dụ như quyển sách được

viết bởi Peter thì ta viết ngắn gọn: a book by peter

Từ công thức này ta có thể viết:

MIGHT + VERB

Chỉ một hành động, sự việc có thể xảy ra

He might understand what you mean

It might be cold in march

BE GOING TO + VERB VÀ WILL

Be going to:

- Chỉ một hành động sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai mà đã lên kế hoạch trước đó

Ví dụ: tomorrow, I am going to meet my friends at the airport at 7a.m

- Đây là một kế hoạch đã dự định trước đó

Will:

- Chỉ một hành động có thể xảy ra trong tương lai nhưng chỉ là quyết định tức thời

Ví dụ: I have to go home, I forget my passport, I will be back after 10 minutes

- Đây là hành động nhất thời, không có dự định sẵn

Muốn gặp ai đó ta dùng: Can I speak to…

Hỏi đó có phải là người mình muốn gặp không: is that…

Tôi có thể để lại lời nhắn nhắn không: may I leave a message?

Bạn có muốn để lại lời nhắn không: do you want to leave a message?
