Use singular verbs:

Oxygen, garbage, clothing, food, trash, underwear, Tupperware, sheep, hatred, eyewear, hair, air, coffee, deceit, shyness, truthfulness, hon-esty, beauty

Use plural verbs:

Sheep, foods, monies, peoples, coffees, British, Portuguese, woods, scis-sors, and pants

F changes to v in the plural:

Leaf, loaf, roof, half, knife, calf, wolf, elf, shelf

To make a verb from these words, add -e.

Cloth, breath, wreath, sleuth

Homophones

Homophones are words that are pronounced the same but have different spellings and different meanings
