1 Construction signs

The contractor shall arrange guards 24/24 hours, with installation of the project information signs that shows information about the project, size and content of signs, which are agreed by the Engineer and the Employer

2 Electricity supply

Contractor shall contact with local electricity company to purchase electricity and install the power stations in accordance with demand In case of electric power is not available for the construction, the contractor will use generators to ensure continuous construction At the construction site, the circuit breakers with cover for protection of electrical system will be installed and electric lines will be hung

on posts to contact with construction areas, and also safety ground wires shall be installed in accordance with current safety standards of electricity

3 Water supply:

Contractor shall contact to local water suppliers to ensure enough clean and standard water for construction and living in site camping, offices It is needed to build a number of small auxiliary tanks for construction services

4 Communication and information:

The contractor will fix telephones, fax machines at the Site management Board and at the construction groups to ensure continuous communication 24/24h with all the related parties

5 Fire fighting system :

To prevent and handle fire and explosion which may occurs, some fire extinguishers at the needed points shall be equipped to dry out fires Officials inspecting the fire shall be assigned every day

6 Prepare for construction materials

The Contractor shall make the planning scheme, making purchasing orders with quarries and sources of materials such as: soil, sand, stones, steel, cement, and asphalt

II ARRANGEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION SITE PLAN

The contractor will assign the key staff with corresponding professional qualifications, experience and good health to undertake the work

For technical workers, drivers, machine operators: the skilled, experienced construction labor with high productivity, consistent with work requirements to achieve effective highest quality as well as work progress will be assigned

For the unskilled workers: Take advantage of the existing force of the Contractor,

if in shortage, the Contractor will hire additional employees of the locality to ensure and create jobs for local workforce seasonally

2 Construction equipment and machineries

The contractor shall arrange the construction equipment and machinery with good quality for project implementation

All kinds of construction equipment have been tested and registered for licensing activities by relevant agency When mobilized for the project must be approved

by the Engineer

Use of construction equipment with the best performance, ensure high productivity, good quality, low cost, and mitigate the hard work for the employees

Chain method for construction will be applied based on characteristics of the construction, construction technology, construction schedule, volume and other conditions

Regular and timely adjust the workforce of equipments and labor in order to ensure consistency, balance and facilitate the application of advanced construction technology

Constantly improve the management level, technical level and repair and well periodic maintenance of construction equipment and implement

Construction equipment and materials for construction are organized by centralized management and stability in the construction teams, as well as highly specialized

CHAPTER II: CLEARANCE, GRUBBING

Existing highways, improvements, facilities, adjacent property, utilities, services, and trees and plants designated for preservation shall be protected from injury or damage

In order to reduce the risk of erosion no topsoil shall be removed from the areas outside the limits of earthworks Any topsoil outside these limits, which is inadvertently removed during clearing and grubbing operations or otherwise, shall immediately be replaced by the Contractor at its own expense

Setting out and staking of each cross section as the approved construction method statement, mark the locations, limiting the areas to clear trees, cut grasses, excavate roots of trees, remove away debris and then submit the Engineer for approval before conducting the next work

The clearing and grubbing shall consist of clearing the designated areas of all trees, down timber, snags, vegetation, rubbish and objectionable material and shall include grubbing stumps and roots and disposing of all material resulting from the clearing or grubbing It shall also include the demolition removal and disposal of structures that obtrude into or encroach upon or obstruct the work, except where provided for otherwise

Also included in this work shall be the removal of loose pavement material, road signs, right-of-way markers, kilometre stones, guide posts and all other incidentals within the limits of construction

Using the measures to ensure effective safety and warnings for the areas of construction and arrange lights at night if necessary

Any debris shall be removed or buried in the right places accepted by the Engineer and the Employer within the range of the project and filled up at least 30cm above to create the shape and visible slope

be destroyed up to the natural stream bottom, the other structures outside the range of natural water flow will be excavated to at least 50cm below the natural soil surface

Outside the limits of the earthworks, and under embankments trees and stumps more than 1.5 metres in height shall be cut to a level not more than 300 mm above ground level and not less than 450 mm below the embankment slopes and everything else to ground level

In cut areas clearing shall include the removal of stumps and roots exceeding 80

mm in diameter, to a depth of 450 mm below the finished surface except that in rounding areas at the tops of cut slopes they may be cut flush

Grubbing shall be carried out on the area of embankment foundations where the embankment height is less than 1.5 metres Grubbing shall consist of the removal and disposal of topsoil, stumps, roots, etc., to a depth of at 150 mm below ground

Where existing embankment is to be raised or widened, all vegetation and topsoil

shall similarly be completely removed from shoulders, slopes and ground under the widening before the operations of actual widening can be commenced

Where roadway excavations are to be made, and where ditches, streams and rivers, are to be diverted, all vegetation, roots stumps and the like shall be completely removed and placed outside the excavation area concerned before the excavation works can be commenced

All timber, brush, stumps, roots, logs, and other refuse from the clearing and grubbing operation and topsoil not required for re-use shall be disposed to an approved waste site provided by the Contractor The site shall be outside of the right of way
