I The objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

- Use the present simple, simple future tense and V-ing

- Read for specific information about hobbies

- Vocab: The items related to hobbies

- Grammar: The simple present, the simple future, V-ing

-A cassette and an audio compact disk

Warm up

- T asks ss to look at the pictures then choose

the correct words or phrases

- Ss do the task

- T corrects and lets Ss to the new lesson

Activity 1: Review the simple present and the

simple future tenses

1.1 Complete the sentences

- Teacher asks Ss to recal the simple present

and the simple future tenses

-Ss: says how to use them

- T: guides ss how to do the exercises

- Ss compare their answers with a partner

- Ss present the answer (speaking + writing)

- T: corrects and gives the key

1.2 Read the table and complete his report

- T: shows the table and explains the task

- Ss read the information in the table, the

passage and complete it

- Ss share their answers with a partner

- Ss present their answers

- T: checks and gives feedback

Activity 2:

- T: give examples and explain the structure

- Ss listen and take note

- T asks ss to do the exercise of part 4

- Ss do the task then give the answers

-T corrects and gives feedback
