 Number of students: 40

 Time allotted: 45 minutes

 Date: 7/3/2017

Aim(s):

 To improve students’ speaking skills

Objectives: By the end of this 45-minute lesson, students will be able to:

 Improve their speaking skills through discussion, survey, …

 Know more about many kinds of films

Lexical items: science fiction, horror, detective, thriller, moving, violent

Teaching aids and materials: projector, board, pictures, textbook, computer,

handouts, poster, etc

Lesson focus: Speaking skills

Anticipated problems and solutions:

 Problems:

- There might be some sudden technological problems (computer, projector, …)

- Electricity might be unavailable

- Surrounding areas might be noisy

- Some timid student don’t participate in the lesson

 Solutions:

- Check all the materials, equipments, aids, and electricity carefully before the class

- Teacher encourages all students to participate in the lesson
