Checking: What and where

Note: difference between Hi / Hello/ good morning….

Hi is very informal Pupils can use with friends but not with an adult, e.g a teacher Hello is also informal and friendly

Good morning is more formal than Hi/ Hello.

It can be used with teachers and other adults.

Setting the sense: - Have pupils look at pictures Ask them to identify the characters inthe pictures

Who are in the pictures? What are they doing? What time is it?

- Model sentences:
