1 Purpose / Target:
The cross cutting test serves multilevel painting on its background one on the other for the evaluation of adhering in and as well as adhering the layers
2 Description of the procedure:
2.1) Testing sets
Cut devices : Cutting device and folding ruler according to DIN 53151
Multi-cut device B according to DIN 53151
2.2) Execution
The coated sample boards are long stored at least 12 hours For check the boards will provide with a cut tape going through up to the background with 6 cuts and in the right angle in addition with a further cut tape with 6 cuts The cuts are to be drawn constantly and jerkily
2.3) Analysis
The characteristic value is determined by regarding the cross cuts and their comparing with the pictures and descriptions according to the analysis table (taken over from DIN 53151) If the given characteristic value is not fulfilled, then is 2 To execute and evaluate check of the same sheet metal
