* Comparative form:

S1 + be + adj –ER + than + S2.

- Add ER after adjective: small – smaller

- The end of the word which has “e” just add R: nice – nicer

Only one sylable between 2 phụ âm– double phụ âm + ER:big – bigger

- For 2 syblables end by “y,ow,er,le,et” – add ER

if “y’ – ier

* Superlative form
