LESSON: 2- LISTEN

A.The objectives.

1 The aims

By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:

- Listen to the description of a countryside and fill the

information in the correct position in the map

2 Skills :

+ Listening : Listen to the trip to Ba’s village and match the place on the bus route with the letters on the map

3 Knowleges:

+ Standard : Listen and match 6/9 places on the map

+ Higher : Write a passage about their countryside

4 Language contents:

a.Vocabulary: west, south,, north, fuel, westward, opposite direction,

drop, towards, do for a living

b.Structures : Present simple, to the west of, to the south of, turn left onto

5 Attitude: Educate ss to learn hard and love their countryside

B Techniques: -Asking and answering; Cross-word, guessing games

C Teaching aids: - Student Palmtop, Street map

specific and detailed information about exchange students

2 Skills :

+ Reading : Drill reading comprehension skills to get specific and

detailedinformation about exchange students

+ Writing : Write the summary about exchange students

3 Knowleges:

+ Standard : Read and know about exchange students: study, work,

time

+ Higher : Write a similar passage about another exchange student in

England
